Schroder UK Public Private Trust plc (the "Company") announces that Susan Searle, Chair of the Company since 2015, has retired following the Company's Annual General Meeting on 4 June 2021, in line with the Company's published succession plan.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Susan for her leadership as Chair. Tim Edwards, an independent non-executive director of the Company, succeeds Susan as Chair.

Tim is a qualified chartered accountant with a widespread background in corporate finance and investment. He is currently the chair of Storm Therapeutics Ltd, Karus Therapeutics Ltd and Modulus Oncology Ltd, a director of AstronauTx Ltd and an independent non-executive director of Record plc. Previously, Tim was a member of the governing board of InnovateUK, the UK's innovation agency, a director of the UK Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult and chair of the UK BioIndustry Association.
