I wouldn't say a false gain tomorrow as todays genuine gain is not showing up in todays stated mid price.

Easy - Closing auction UT 2 shares at 40.2 - After auction 2 "O" trades - buys at 47.4-p . So on opening tomorrow a "false" gain of some 7p likely to be shown. QED.

That's just over £1m invested by David and Patricia Lis in just over a week. That is some serious skin in the game.

I wasn't planning on topping up but now seriously considering it.

Yes great news. Oversubscribed raise of £4.4m compared to original target of £2m. House broker estimates 12m revenue this year with Ebitda of 3.5m. His fair value price is 61p.

2 Non exec directors applying for £650k of shares in the placing is a big sign of confidence.

The market makers have moved the price up 2p despite only 1 share showing as being sold since the announcement!

Nice update today,

The current year ending 31 December 2024 has started strongly, with sales and orders representing estimated revenue of c.€5.9m (including the significant new order), already exceeding full year 2023 revenue, and giving the Board confidence that the full year will see YOY revenue growth of a similar order to the c.150% YOY growth from 2022 to 2023.

Estimates are at €12m that would be some compound growth rate

Yes now confirmed by later RNS.

They have either decided that the recent share price recovery is an opportunity to sell or there may be other unconnected reasons to exit. I suspect the other large purchases today are other key holders who have seen this as an opportunity to top up. I had been reluctant to top up following the steep rise after the shares were suspended but colinbwood might have timed his top up quite well, it will be interesting to see how this reacts next week.

The only non-management shareholder with 3.8m shares is M+ Invest, a Danish family office.https://investor.windarphotonics.com/shareholder-informationMy guess is their shares have been placed, thereby removing an overhang. Given the increased commitment from NED Paul Hodges I think the share price will soon recover. The broker's target price is 59p, so they could double pretty quickly.

As well as the 1,000,000 at 30.5 there are quite a few other large trades also for 30.5 which could also be buys and the 3,846,473 at 30 could have been the seller.

Paul Hodges now owns 3.25m shares which is 4.7% so the 3.8m shares is over 5.5% so another holdings RNS should follow and will help to clarify what has happened.

Paul Hodges, a Non-Executive Director of the Company, purchased 1,000,000 ordinary shares.

There was a 1,000,000 trade this morning at way below market price @30.5 which I assumed was a sell, but looks like it actually was a buy according to the RNS just released. Unless he bought later in smaller chunks. If it was at 30.5 then how did he manage to buy so low?
