29/3/2006 08:23 | Still the sell off continues to put shares into institutional hands. | jwe
28/3/2006 22:22 | Breaking through news !! | fullm0on
28/3/2006 22:11 | Framlington HSBC 11.93% - today Merrill Lynch Investment reduced their non-beneficial interest to 9.87 % - Holding for who? Joining Standard Life and Legal & General | grigor
24/3/2006 13:05 | Lets hope some of the profits from these spivvy shells from the last few days makes it into some real businesses. Sadly, greed will probably take over for many... | bridggar
24/3/2006 12:19 | And that assumes a derisory eps of 25p for 2006.Given the rate of growth i feel it is highly unlikely to come in that low. | jwe
24/3/2006 11:41 | From todays IC;GOOD VALUE;....a forward PE ratio of 13 looks undemanding when compared with a forward PE ratio of 29 for its closest peer 2ergo. | wynmck
23/3/2006 16:41 | Recruiter-Look at RCG,strong trading update, very high level of growth, very low p/e(but paying hardly any tax yet)results next week.Up strongly today but like WNN have hardly moved since update. These have been stuck in a trading range for quite a while and could easily move sharply higher. | jwe
23/3/2006 15:17 | Recs - see if MSI fits your criteria...maybe just a little ramp intended. | milesy
23/3/2006 14:34 | I have been looking at various other investments, none of them have growth of Win with such a low pe, I have seen others with forward pe's of about 11 or 12, but growth is about 10% p.a. How long have us "long-termers" been saying that we need to be re-rated, pe of 15-20 is easily required for win imo..... so, minimum 27p (possibly 30p) eps for 06, that gives a price target anywhere between 405p & 540 on 27p eps & on 30p, 450p & 600p.......... either way we have to be over 400p imo.... | recruiter
23/3/2006 14:25 | SCSW - you're probably right in that the unquantifiable nature of the contract means they avoid putting a number to likely revenues (though may well have internal forecasts). As you say, we'll only know when they report. | milesy
23/3/2006 14:20 | well if they have VOD in UK & Greece, no reason that the WIN SE divsion cant get VOD to extend this to cover Europe in its entirety.....now that would be nice. | recruiter
23/3/2006 13:35 | milesy They surely must have been advised of the expected traffic load as part of their tender for the VOD contract. VOD must have needed to be certain that WIN's systems would cope before they granted them the deal. WIN must also surely have a feel for how much revenue is 'normally' generated from so many thousands(millions ?) of messages, but I don't see that they could issue a statement for an as yet unquantifiable amount of potential revenue. Isn't it more likely to only come out in the set of results that covers the period ? | scsw
23/3/2006 11:27 | At least this thread is busier so I suppose that is a start. | this_is_me
23/3/2006 11:24 | I wonder if WNN management have any idea of expected revenues from the VOD Live contract...if as much as we're speculating, then surely they should RNS? | milesy
23/3/2006 10:46 | Also note the phrase "likely to". It's hardly in the bag.... | bridggar
23/3/2006 10:16 | also: In 2006, WIN has already won an exclusive contract to provide all its SMS and MMS alerts for Vodafone live! in the UK. This and other new opportunities are likely to more than replace any revenues lost from marketing campaigns being returned in-house. Note the wording: "more than replace" - i.e. higher revs are in the bag !!! | recruiter
23/3/2006 10:13 | there were some great lines stated in the results, which we should note: These include: Significant new network operator business throughout 2005 and in the first two months of 2006; Note about 2006 - these results were only up to Dec 05 !!!!! | recruiter

23/3/2006 10:07 | On past experience with small caps, the buyer might be institutional and has simply told the MM what price he wants the shares at and that's why the trades don't appear to have much effect on the share price The MM knows that if he doesn't fulfill the order as requested, that buyer will not use him again until forced to. Previously with the very illiquid WIN, any flurry of small buys or sells by low priority PIs would have the MM running the price up and down like a yoyo. | scsw
23/3/2006 09:48 | Recruiter, i`m surprised too however it certainly seems that a large buyer has(all sells being mopped up again today).A RNS should have been issued for this but that is not how this company seems to work.Still value will out in the end and any downside looks extremely limited-good risk/reward imo. | jwe
23/3/2006 09:43 | Rec - what is beyond me is the fact that there appears to be a buyer in the market, yet people are prepared to sell into a rise. Maybe they are right but mine aren't going anywhere. | bernstein
23/3/2006 09:41 | And what do you think will drag this company into the limelight? | bridggar
23/3/2006 09:33 | The results seem to have made no immediate difference to the share price, the volune remains very low. I am happy to hold a fair sized holding while the company is doing so well and is so undervalued. At some point patience will be rewarded. | this_is_me |
