Must admit I sometimes wonder if he's taking all this seriously.. |
Very odd RNS
Why does a shell company with no assets or interests need their shares being promoted?
And can anyone name one single “institutuonal” shareholder the newbie has brought into Strata : his one other public company interest ?
And why does some one with a retail banking career have an ability to bring resource based institutional investors ?
Walter Mitty land…….. |
0.005 funding being offered apparently…. it’s on its knees from an accounting perspective…..
All imho etc etc |
Not much for wildcat in savannahs update today just a note at the end.... "Continuing to progress a potential alternative transaction structure to acquire a material stake in producing oil and gas assets in South Sudan as per our announcement of 20 December 2024." |
lol!! Wtf has Uber driving Walter Mitty Mandy got relevance wise to that Andrea??!! |
Thia company makes a nonsense of the UK markets.
Why hold the AGM in Birmingham early in the morning a few days before Xmas??
To deter anyone from attending, that's why!!!
Why would they want to deter shareholders from attending??? |
Erh, quit dreaming: WCAT is potless
If it had any genuine irons in fire, it would have raised more to complement the £100k odd it has left in till.
At best, it might be funded at 0.005 which still gives the Uber driver £1.5m in stock post deal completion
But again, there is zero precedent for such a sweetheart deal anywhere before
Best to stop dreaming or ramping for your personal position. Both nasty for newbies/neutral observers….. |
Because SAVE dont have as strong a relationship with the SS Gov as WCAT. SAVE are desperate to be involved in some sort of a deal and they will pay good money to hold on to the pigtails of WCAT and weave their way in to a deal by throwing a bit of cash at it. Watch this space! |
Since when has "not making sense" stopped SAVE doing anything? |
Why on earth would SAVE give away circa £1m in costs on top of a further £4m odd in “existing̶1; market cap of WCAT as part of any deal?
It doesn’t make sense……
So they won’t. |
No Im not kidding Det. Take a quick read of this:-As for WCAT. Might be laughable to some but look deeperMichael Kroupeev is an advisor to WCAT and i note he bought a very modest £50k investment over a year ago.He owns Waterford Investment. He turned Emerald Energy a serial under performer in Colombia oil by making a strategic investment and getting them involved in Syria which had similar discoveries across the border in Kurdistan and not long before they had significant discoveries/production.15-16 years ago I think he made £138m turning Emerald into a 25 or else 50 bagger from memory which was sold to Sinochem. (Emeralds Colombia assets were attacked/ burned down later).https://www.theguardian.com/business/marketforceslive/2009/aug/12/1He didn't have the same luck however with Sterling Energy in Kurdistan which then lay stagnant for a number of years while Waterfordy exited and ex Tullow people and others turned it into Afentra."The owner of Waterford, Mikhail Kroupeev will join WCAT as a strategic adviser to its Board of Directors and Waterford will also take a nominal equity stake in Wildcat*.The Waterford Group ("Waterford") was established in 1995 as an investment vehicle for Mr Michael Kroupeev. Waterford invests mainly in up-stream petroleum projects and since its inception, the fund has invested in over a dozen such projects, both public and private. In London, the company has invested in listed petroleum companies including Emerald Energy, Dana Petroleum, Anglo-Siberian, EuroSov Petroleum, Gulfsands Petroleum, Sterling Energy, Petroceltic and Sibir Energy.Wildcat will be able to draw upon Mr Kroupeev's extensive experience of managing listed oil companies as well as raising finance and negotiating significant petroleum sector deals. Wildcat will seek to leverage the extensive financial and petroleum network Mr Kroupeev has built up over the last 30 years, working with major investors, funds and major oil companies.Mandhir Singh, Chairman of Wildcat, commented: "The management of Wildcat is delighted to secure the backing of such a successful and experienced partner. The support provided by Waterford and Mr Kroupeev and their extensive networks will help to accelerate the process of Wildcat becoming a profitable, producing oil company with a high impact exploration division. This relationship will also allow Wildcat to tackle significant oil projects."https://markets.ft.com/data/announce/full?dockey=1323-15653771-43GPVMFV3D7AITIEI666QER8HBIt's this relationship i expect that people are missing about how WCAT could possibly be looking at these kind of opportunities no matter how incredible it may seem (It's not). I expect if a deal, any deal whether in Africa, Sudan or South Sudan could be financed as per Emerald Energy if anyone can remember that. While there's 2.8 billion shares in issue in WCAT, the m/cap is only £5m and it's the kind of relationship where Kroupeev could help inject significant financing/placing etc for WCAT as an investment for a similar if not risky high impact return such as Emerald? |
Building a nice position at these levels, I can really see WCAT being involved in some sort of deal in South Sudan along with SAVE in some capacity. |
IMHO - they won't raise, SAVE will debt fund them as it's WCAT who have the relationship with the Government and SAVE n ed to piggy back on to that. |
Wouldn’t bother…..they need £900k if they do a deal….-£200k for 6-8 months plc costs whilst halted and an absolute min of £700k to cover transaction costs.
That will all be done at 0.005…….max |
Can buy £3k. But not £4k. |
Todays news from SAVE Sure sounds like wildcat and they've just RNS'd they've been signing deals too in their recent update..
"Further to its announcement on 3 December 2024, the Company advises that its ordinary shares remain suspended from trading on AIM pending publication of an AIM Admission Document setting out, inter alia, details of a proposed alternative transaction in respect of the ex-PETRONAS assets in South Sudan, should it be concluded, or confirmation is provided that a proposed alternative transaction is not proceeding.
In this regard, since the last announcement, an affiliate of Savannah has signed an agreement with another energy company to discuss collaboration in relation to the potential alternative transaction. A further update on progress, and associated matters, is expected to be made by the end of February 2025." |
