29/6/2017 19:20 | I forgot to mention that people working for Wey education are taking shares in lieu of salary. That must be a good sign unless someone out there can throw a different light on the subject. Is it common for such a situation ? | 666james
29/6/2017 19:16 | I would have liked to be there but coming from "up north" it would take me two days, plus I have a commitment on that Wed night at 7.30. Its a shame but I will wait with a lot of interest for any info you guys will share. Good day today | 666james

25/6/2017 10:24 | Our national competitor is laying off workers, sad but the worse comprehensive schools become the higher the demand for inexpensive alternatives: From the link: New figures show more than ten thousand support staff jobs lost. GMB, the union for school support staff, today said that children’s education was suffering as support staff bear the brunt of school funding cuts. New figures reveal that the overall school workforce in England fell in 2016. This was the first reduction in education employment since 2011, when the records were compiled on a different basis. 22/6/2017 16:41 | Article: 13th June 2017 ==================== It is estimated that over 50,000 children are now being Home Schooled in the UK … and the figure is rising by 80% per year. BLIMY!!!! Just see how much cheaper WEY is compared to these guys. Teacherstoyourhome charge £45 a hour. That equates to about £1000 a WEEK. WEY is just £3000 to £6000 a YEAR. From "Teacherstoyourhome" site: Home Schooling from £35 per hour to £45 per hour, dependent upon the shape of the week and the level of teaching input required | netcurtains

20/6/2017 13:27 | WEY and TIDE ============== Barrie Whipp So what is "Crimson Tide".. Which leads to next question: what is "mpro5"? From the web: mpro5 allows businesses to complete jobs and paperwork out in the field. Schedule your jobs in the cloud to your mobile devices, and allow your users to complete their work whilst recording customer sign-off if necessary. Could there be some tie up of WEY to TIDE??? TIDE becomes the "thing" for the education sector?? TIDE share price interesting ... Here is the ADVFN thread: | netcurtains
18/6/2017 21:46 | rampmeister.. No I have not seen that article but as you say very good news. It has been mentioned in the FY report and I think someone else is taking shares instead of money that the company owes them. All points to a rosy future for the company...well that is how I would view that situation. | 666james
17/6/2017 17:42 | Did anyone read the little nugget in Money Observer May edition that Chairman Massie is foregoing salary and is receiving shares in lieu but only up to August results. Not a huge amount involved but think we can take this as a positive RM | rampmeister
15/6/2017 16:44 | the cost of buying nearly outweighs the cost of the shares | 666james
15/6/2017 16:42 | that buy for 99 shares is a bit strange. | 666james
12/6/2017 22:33 | some news: | netcurtains
12/6/2017 20:25 | Hydrus: Agreed, We might get clues via tweeter feeds but no concrete info until at least August (I could be proved wrong tomorrow of course). There are two interesting previous news items that have really not gone anywhere as yet (a) CHINA and (b) GRAMMAR (they might be linked). Speaking to relatives, what interests many EU young people is the chance of getting a secondary education in ENGLISH thus enabling them to undergraduate in the USA (you need to be really good at English if you want to do a GOOD degree in the USA or the UK for that matter). WEY Education is a good entry level ENGLISH education system to enable Europeans (and Chinese etc) to get a foot in the door of the USA adult education system. Tonights EVENING STANDARD had a piece on On-Line language tutors putting up their prices... Which, I guess is good news for WEY. | netcurtains
12/6/2017 09:56 | There was an update about 7 weeks ago? I think they just need to get on with their jobs tbh. Wouldn't expect another update for a month or two. | hydrus
12/6/2017 09:53 | It would be good to hear of an update on how things are going from the board...very quiet and very few shares traded. | 666james
09/6/2017 18:13 | nurdin: Its possible that "infinity education" might be taking off a bit as they are advertising for an administration assistant on their web page (I'm guessing that might be related to actual students signing up and the admin associated with that). just a guess. | netcurtains
09/6/2017 12:26 | Had a few..trade not showing yet | nurdin
06/6/2017 15:11 | Education during austerity........ And Education that is the future..... Anyway you look at it, online education is here to stay and grow. Its STRONG and STABLE... its also HIP and HAPPENING... | netcurtains
