this was a biggish buy yesterday at 4pm

Pausing for breath now, few sellers but not any desperate sellers and now few buyers, summer vols again. This stock seems to attract longer time frame investors.

Patience required before the next move up, I see max downside say 18-20p maybe not lower than 20p, should warmer up last week in August as we get near end of years news.

based on nothing......all those small share "buys" yesterday amounted to a fair proportion of the total shares out in the market place (not held by directors/institutions). There are only just over 100 million shares in total and most of them held very tightly. Could a company British/American be getting hold of the free float with a view to taking them over? Some of the buys were so small it was hardly worth the expense of the buying that "we" would have to pay...as I said at the beginning only my thoughts but based on nothing

this is just a gut feeling based on nothing.

one or two brokers might have been at the meeting.
some of the buys might be brokers buying for their clients.

if so this is probably good news as the shareholder base is expanding
far outside of advfn and it sort of implies brokers expect
result info at end of august to be bullish ...

Bones 586. Many thanks for your promised update which makes good reading to go to bed on.
Tomorrow is another day and some retrace might happen...'cause it's gone like a train this week.
Thanks again for your views on the presentation evening which I would have loved to have gone to..but life does not allow everything you want.

Looking at today's price action, interesting to see that there was a 100,000 share purchase at 14.08 (reported after hours) at nearly 1p above the offer and that was the cause of SCAP moving the bid to 22.5p. SCAP did not get a nibble at all even at that price. Not a seller all afternoon on LSE or NEX Exchange.

We have had 12 consecutive up days (mostly less than 1p a time - slowly as she goes) since the Investor meeting and there were only 20 people there! I heard that one of the reps from a main investing institution in WEY was there (possibly MITON? Not sure). I can only surmise that their clients were given a nod afterwards?

Melody, I feel that people like IP get stronger on the negative feed back they get. Its like oxygen to them. If everybody filtered PI he/she would go and annoy another thread.
Wey "should" trickle back from these dizzy heights but when there is a shortage of stock around small purchases/sales are magnified in the price.
I cannot say I am doing as well as yourself this year but we have some time to go yet.

666 - I already had PI filtered from another thread so have not a clue what he/she is saying. Smart move by you I suspect. I'm having a good year (+25% to date) so I doubt if PI is making money taking a contrary view on stocks such as WEY.

Well not really unexpected, some sellers banked profits, I will add anything under 20p but not hopefully, core holding tucked away, just look for decent pull backs to add along the WEY!

Out for meetings will try and check back on progress later this afternoon.
