gwatson56 - I share all of your sentiments. Kicking myself for not picking up 1300 shares in the week prior to the last trading update on my birthday 9th May.

Too greedy, as I was hoping for sub £7, but should have been swayed by 44k share purchase the night before (not sure if it was post Close tbf.

A lot of Wetherspoons pubs don't benefit from a garden. but agree this is thirsty weather. Stonegate scenario is equally tempting.

I use the app now in every Spoons. Can't be bothered queuing anymore lol .Having that system as the did in Yates bars for many years can go both ways ,as it might put some off seeing a queue ?There wouldn't have been a queue anywhere else yesterday, in almost all the pubs ,as they were lucky iff they had customers ?

Talking to a couple of landlords in Warrington today and they said last month had been the worst for trade they had ever seen .One had just taken over a pub called the Postern Gate very close to a wetherspoons. Spoons was very busy, but the others in the town definitely not .People may have gone out later for the boxing, but some of these northern towns are definitely on the decline ?Levelling up my backside ???Last man standing ??
