I still hold to my view that the share price will breach £9 in the coming months. I have assumed in my workings that the next statement (10/7) will not have any gotcha's but consider this a remote possibility. Just look at the weather now, this will translate into good business for the pub trade and JDW just seems busier and busier. Now if Stonegate was to report no news on refinancing the slug of loans that need to be 'sorted' for 2025 in their annuals circa end Sept then imo JDW will breach £10. I do have a remote hope for a retrace in the share price prior to 10th July as I would not mind holding a few more...

Good to see this close the week at £8 plus, which augurs well for the Summer, in my view.

My Ruddles was £1.79 on Monday lunchtime. Still 20p cheaper than it was about 10 years ago when I first went to the local.

Thanks for the information isis. JDW the 50 day MA when crossing the 100 day MA should be a great sign for further advances. I have the mid 900's as my target. If the BOE reduce rates then that will further propel the share price ... imo. Great day today.

It does seem economies of scale are high on Spoons list these days and why they are closing some of the smaller ones despite them being busy.
I tried the Bathtub Gin yesterday with Elderflower Tonic and was pretty impressed, at £4-£5 for a double in some Spoons it's a gift! £35 a bottle in the Supermarkets!

Spoons must carry some weight to be able to do this:-

I think most of the Public now accept and like Spoons as part of the furniture. The Wines in them are very well picked and would probably set you back £30-£40 in most London Pubs.
They are better than the usual House plonk and not much different (sometimes less) than Supermarket prices!

Great set of results today. The 50 day MA should now support the share price going forward. The one thing that was not mentioned was the awful weather this qtr and now things are warming up those beer gardens should be filling up and reckon JDW are a good bet going forward. Even the supreme commander is pestering me to check up if our local JDW does the new dishes as she is looking forward to sampling them. Great company and happy to hold and add.
