SP has made little progress recently is because a significant amount of recovery already looks in the price?.

Longer term looks better.

Perhaps the upcoming statement gives the share price a nudge.

I didn't catch it all but heard something on TV about Heineken reopening out of Town pubs to attract those working from home where pubs have closed down in certain areas, so that would not be direct competition for JDW's pubs as these are generally not out of Town.

I do consider the Heineken news very positive for JDW as Heineken look at the bottom line and can see that the sector is attractive for the right offering. Expecting a 'steady as she goes' statement for Q3. Just hope we can forget about Corvid and move on.

Everywhere you go in the North the proper pubs are closing and there's a few micro bars opening. Not a chance they will last at 6 pounds a pint and they don't open midweek. The pub game has gone in the North?Apart from Spoons Absolute FACT

Not alcohol but occasionally I like the the Old Jamaica Ginger Beer myself at just £1.44 with a glass of ice. Although it used to be half the price pre-pandemic it's still very good value and you would pay double elsewhere and more often than not end up with a tiddly bottle of Swepps mixer.

They've changed the drinks menu on some items. No more Duppy Rum I'm afraid that was one of my favourites and no cheap replacement for it either. AU Vodka is still there and is a nice Vodka in different flavours very moreish.
Moet Champagne appears at £29 not bad when you consider the average Supermarket price is around £40!
