Should be some very good news for us very soon, then perhaps it could become a more sensible thread.

So no answers, just rampers. Answer the questions. Airports wouldn’t need it if a vaccine was found.

Fade over 5 years at least? Also why would airports ever get rid of it?

Again esteban, graham has been proved right time and time again over many years.

Can you add anything other than smart comments, how will they reverse the 1.4m loss, how will they pay to upscale or take on any significant contract, how much are they having to pay staff off work in SL? They are in a sweet spot if they can get infra red temp kit yes, but that will fade away over time, what is the underlying business doing and why still loss making after central costs.

I’ve always been clear here. I’ve probably made more money from wsg than many here in the run up to the 80s years ago. It was just the constant ramp and missed targets and deliverables.

Look how far down you had to dig in the annual report to see they actually lost money.

The upside could potentially could be massive for WSG - if trials continue to impress you can only see WSG kit being employed in nearly every airport - if they don't employ the fever screen detectors folks just wont have the confidence to Fly / go aboard. I suppose all ferries and docks will have to go the same way as well....

travel is very much in the spotlight...

Edinburgh-based Menzies Aviation has successfully trialled Covid-19 screening with Air France at Arlanda Airport in Stockholm.

All passengers were screened as they presented their boarding passes at the departure gate using technology from Westminster Group. The UK firm's portable systems use thermal imaging to detect signs of fever and have been used to spot coronavirus, Ebola, Common flu, norovirus and SARS.

From today's Times:

"Players and coaching staff will pass through a temperature scanner upon arrival at Premier League grounds under strict guidelines for matches to resume later this month (Matt Lawton writes)":

"The plans, which are subject to approval, contain a number of measures designed to limit the spread of coronavirus, which include:

• Temperature scanners installed at stadium entrances and a “sterile route” set out from the point of arrival to the dressing rooms;"

You can't use technicals at these levels. Fundamentals will bring the institutional interest, and then you can track our behaviour going forward with technicals.

Some are stuck in the past and seem unable to see the opportunity that currently presents itself. But, slowly but surely the old guard of bitter stale bulls are coming round to the new reality. It's happening on lse and will happen here. Not sure about deanowls, he'll probably be buying our shares off us at 60p lol.

Not according to the report and accounts which arrived in the post today!

It's in the RNS on 14/5/20:

"2020 has started on an equally positive note, building on the success of 2019 with both order intake and revenues ahead of budget. Q1 delivered revenues of over GBP4.5m, an increase of more than 22% over the same period in 2019 (Q1 2019: GBP3.7m), and I am pleased to report our management accounts show we made a healthy profit of several hundred thousand GBP in the quarter at both pre and post-tax levels as we begin to benefit from new contracts and the investment we have been making in our business over the years."

No, just the poor ones. To be fair it’s a good in with a big ground handling company, they are making progress on the top line but they also love a ramp. And they continue to lose money.

Excellent news today, which could lead to a big roll-out soon as others have said.

Good to see the share price steadily moving upwards too. More news could see 13p-14p or more given the volumes of shares being traded - 3.75m already today.
