I wonder if Feb 2020 will be that vagarious month where PF breaks a long habit of being wildly inaccurate with his expectations, and actually gets Tema signed by the end of February. Fingers crossed, it's a new decade after all!

That's it, I've now used up all my optimism for WSG - enjoy it.

Guys these thermal scanners are not expensive which is why they have been able to ship as they can be held as stock as they do not cost a lot.

Gone N/T to buy at 11.5p

Finally going to see some upward movement, that last 15k paid quite a premium for such a small buy

YA and Riverfort are worse than Satan, they will drag this down to 5p with their shorting.

Expect a massive sell off on any news and then constant dripping of the share price in the absence of news, which is what happening right now.

Overview

We are pleased to announce that 2019 was a record year and the Group expects to report, subject to audit, around a 63% year on year increase in revenues to circa GBP10.9m, an increase of GBP4.2m on the GBP6.7m reported in 2018. This is the 5th year of double-digit percentage revenue growth and shows the momentum we are building.

Starting ?? Have you not read the comments ? It is eight years since they last signed a meaningful contract ? They bought a boat that did not work.

Starting ???????

The market is very impatient for news, this will be back to 10p by the end of this week unless news of the contract signing arrives.

On top of that you have the likes of YA and Riverfort shorting and the only way to stop them is by regular newsflow.

No, now, if they do sign ( and like many of the earlier contracts that were days from signing, there has to be some doubt) then it all depends on the Terms.

They are obviously doing some work there, have put in Kit, and mobilised a workforce. However, the trading statement saying they had earned “a few hundred thousand dollars” did suggest it is a lot less lucrative than many hoped for. WSG has admin overhead of about £4.8m in 1H. And reported an operating loss of £1.2m. Their gross margin was just over 50%, but one could guess that the Tech margin is higher than the Managed Contracts margins ( if the other way round, don’t tell Tema !!!).

So, let us use a 50% gross margin. That means that WSG needs another £2.4m of revenue ( ie £2.4m x50% = £1.2m) to get to break even.

If Tema is that order of magnitude, and they sign a long term contract, then it will be taken very positively.

I have always said, that IF they sign another major profitable recurring revenue contract, then the price will rise. The problem is......they haven’t for eight years

Graham, if/when Tema gets signed what do you reckon will happen to the sp? Presumably you think it's already baked in?

East Africa MOU, Nov 2012, delay 87 months
Asia MOU, Feb 2015, delay 60 months
"New country" MOU, Oct 2015, delay 52 months
East Africa 2 MOU, Dec 2015, delay 50 months
MIddle east 1 MOU, JAn 2016, delay 49 months
Border project MOU, Feb 2016, delay 48 months
Iran, MOU and LOI, March 2016, delay 46 months. “Signed” but not operational
Ghana TPA June 19, delay 8 months

That "adds up" to 400 months of aggregate delays, over a 33 year wait !! Nothing new ( apart from Ghana) has been signed for almost four years, so that flurry of supposed activity either side of Christmas 2015 has produced absolutely nothing.

Just shows that the MOUs and LOIs are meaningless, unenforceable, and give no guidance at all as to likelihood or timing of receiving any contract at all. The MOUs cannot be anything more than “yes, let us have a chat about what you might be able to do for our airport security” and no more. Whatever they say, WSG conversion rate is.......er, zero.

The most recent five MOUs are all four years old. Are they really still talking to these people ? Feb 22 will be the fourth anniversary of the Border MOU. Wonder how that is getting on ? They said four years ago “The authorities in the country concerned regard this project as high priority and have selected Westminster, entering into an exclusive MoU with them, based on Westminster's reputation, experience and capabilities. In accordance with the terms of the MoU Westminster will now be undertaking a gap analysis and feasibility study prior to finalising contract negotiations.”. High priority !!!!!! What a farce. Finalising contract negotiations!!!!! What a lie !!

Wsg has not rose at all burtond1

Still waiting for it to catch up !

If NCYT can be valued 50% higher than WSG on the back of a few hundred k of orders
then what should Wsg be valued at with a now thriving business and the potential of their fever detection units !

Once the punters latch on it will have another one of it's crazy runs to 20p
