First post for a little while

Back holding decently again.

EBITDA positive + one ferry alone should make for a profitable company.

Then add in someuwin, as you say the Letter of Intent, The Border contract and all the MOU's.

I don't sit hours on end at a computer screen so bought and topped up to avoid any pack mentality.

Its not dragging, this is the speed these large strategic contacts take. (you get used to it being a WSG holder)

The 'decision' has already been made. MoU, LoI and finer contract details have all been hammered out. It just take a long time for the government beurocracy to be completed.

We're not just waiting for one major contract. WSG have SIX contracts currently under negotiation for airport security in countries across the world.

They also have a very big border crossing security contract that is very close to signing too.

Full update to come in two and a half weeks. Unless we get a contract win before then.

the longer this drags the least likely of a favorable decision, just hope the airport company is not stringing us along.

If they dont get contract its a 50% drop but if they somehow pull a rabbit out of the hat then its 3 or 4 times the current share price

All imho

The contracts that are being negotiated are not only big for WSG but also the governments that will sign off on them. It therefore stands to reason that even though discussions are largely complete, there will still be 101 hurdles to overcome from a contractual perspective. I'm in for the long blue ride to multiples of today's price

I co currently hold, too. From what has been said, the risk/reward odds do now seem good that WSG will manage to get at least one transformational contract over the line before, say, year end. However, it is definitely not a "no-brainer". WSG's track record in terms of what it has promised and what it has delivered to date speaks for itself.

neo26 - no we are not sure; and Graham1TY is correct to remind us of the "form" WSG has. However, is that not why the price is currently where it is, instead of higher?

so still nothing on the airport deal, this has dragged on are we sure the airport authorities are not using us as bait to get better deal elsewhere..

As this reply the company sent to a poster last week makes clear, all contracts are still active. Everything to play for here.

"To update you as far as we are able, all is on track with the ferry as it is with the other projects that we have announced. In reality, if there had been a material change in the expected out-turn for any of the projects we would have to announce it to the market. The rules state that the current expectation in the market is the reference point for establishing whether an announcement needs to be made to update the market to expect a different outcome.

We will be giving a comprehensive update on all operations at the Interims which will be later on this month."

Pilkersa yes it would be good to get an update of the sea trialson SQ I agree. Equipment and engine tests as well as sea trials should have been completed in August. Could be worth a call to the company to clarify the position on that....
