15/1/2016 08:09 | Let's assume Q1 16 avg 70Mscf/d. (55Mscf/d Dec 15) M = million. $3 / 1000scf = 1000000BTU 70000* $3 *91 days = $19m Q1 16. Net(33%) to WRL = $6.4m less opex and G&A(circa $5m from Q3 financial update) Leaves $1.4m per quarter, useful but not enough. IMHO. | sleveen
13/1/2016 18:17 | looking at current cash position and at the current production figures, it would safe to assume no rights issue repayments of $7.2m due in second half but doesn't state exact dates in statement so I am assuming these are due in equal instalments of $1.2m per month and ongoing til debt repaid so another 6 months of cashflow before payments start. so hopefully the production figures will increase further despite the teething troubles at the power plants also a good chance of further small increases from other sectors with the government holding a 20% interest it hopefully be a good investment | ntv
13/1/2016 09:14 | they should generate $3.5m pcm at 80. so assuming they continue to get paid on time, placing not an issue. but clearly two key variables there! | oregano
13/1/2016 07:45 | Not quite the 80M scf/d. Hence the reporting delay. Will the $7.6m be generated in time for the H2 repayments? Could be tricky...placing required? | sleveen
31/12/2015 18:21 | The monthly oil stock competition for January 2016 as well as the 2016 annual oil competition are now open for entries. Deadline for entries for both competitions is midnight on Sunday, 3 January 2016. Have a very happy and prosperous new year! fb | flyingbull
23/12/2015 01:30 | Agreed a good progress report would reassure us. Merry Xmas all | juuunx2
21/12/2015 08:24 | Would be nice to see progress on the build up of gas production to 80mscf/d and at the same RNS tell us about further monies received. | sleveen
11/12/2015 09:54 | There is no need for them to report every recipt or invoice, I can't imagine any company doing that. It's fair to assume that without news to the contrary all is on track. | koolio
10/12/2015 19:59 | Maybe they won't report every payment just report when required like on a trading update etc | juuunx2
09/12/2015 12:00 | Market getting concerned about lack of an RNS relating to payments for November IMV. | sleveen
19/11/2015 16:29 | Market underwhelmed by today's news. Probably because of the further development of the small gas discovery in Mozambique. | sleveen
19/11/2015 07:26 | Finances looking good here good future ahead | juuunx2
05/11/2015 17:14 | Sleveen - you are right, i meant revs. I had assumed thes announcement refers to the revenues attributable to them, but you are probably right on that score too. thanks. | oregano
05/11/2015 15:43 | Don't forget to deduct cost and G&A , interest payments etc and the payment is to the JV of which WRL have about 32%. Your confusing revenue with cash generated a big difference. | sleveen
05/11/2015 15:39 | if we received $3.8m at an average of 33 units in October, presumably we get $10m when up to 80 units so $120m of cashflow per year, mkt cap £50m. I'd agree it looks cheap. maybe we have to see a few more months of getting paid, that is the key risk. | oregano
04/11/2015 10:07 | i am struggling to know why this is not worth a lot more. and bear in here that can give a negative view? thanks | jovi1
04/11/2015 09:15 | Wentworth Resources (WRL.L, 31.5p, £53m) ops update. Following first gas deliveries into the transnational pipeline in August, the production facilities, export pipeline and receiving facility are now operational and gas is being used to generate power at the (existing) Ubungo-II, Symbian and (new) Kinyerezi-I plants in Dar es Salaam. Export averaged 33mmcfd in October with a gross payment of $3.8m to the partners (WRL 32%) from TPDC. Still producing at a restricted 33mmcfd from three wells currently, with fourth expected to be tied in this month and fifth in Q1. Coy previously expected to reach 70mmcfd in October but still anticipates hitting its 80mmcfd YE target during Q4. Positive – first cash in the door, although this will be slightly tempered by the slower-than-expected ramp up of exports. | liquid millionaire
