22/3/2016 16:11 | Haha....i thought you meant flybe, have been watching thrm for a while too. | laptop15
22/3/2016 12:11 | Cheers Lap. Will have a look. My last post should have read FLYB. Damned predictive texting! | funtimejonny
22/3/2016 09:45 | Cheers Johnny, look decent opportunities. I really like berkeley energia, immuphara and fusionex which are all flying high the last few weeks :-) | laptop15
22/3/2016 09:20 | Another recovery play on my watch list is FYI at around 63p. Very out of favour just now. | funtimejonny
22/3/2016 09:19 | I've gone very lukewarm on AIM oilier myself. I picked up some RDSB a little while ago when the price tanked. Expect them to be back to about £22 in the next couple of years and pays a handsome dividend every 3 months. Good way of not losing money. GEMD is an interesting mixer. Expect 140p in due course and pays dividends. | funtimejonny
22/3/2016 07:39 | ELDORADO, Is there some problems with a bad debt owned to them i keep hearing about? This is my only worry! | laptop15
22/3/2016 07:28 | Thanks a million Eldorado! Very interesting info :) | laptop15
21/3/2016 21:29 | Laptop15; Things are changing for WRL. Production started in August last year, cash flow started in October, production ramping up to 70-80 mmscf/d in March/April. finnCap are convinced:) Relevant information: - Estimated cash flow: - Q4 conference call: Good Luck! | el_dorado
21/3/2016 20:29 | Yes Johnny your right about the movement in price steady but not much growth of recent times. Just sounds like it might have turned the corner with the results and RNS news recently and also read a few articles in shares magazine which caught my eye. Are there any other AIM oil and gas companies y.ou recommend investing in? Or even AIM companies general as I'm looking to invest....i'm trying to spread my portfolio and was thinking it would be good to get more oil companies as they are so lowly valued at present. Large growth potential if price of oil increases. Any ideas? | laptop15
21/3/2016 18:32 | Just keep an eye on it is my advise. It's been going no particular place for years. stuck in a 28-32 pence range for ages. Not a share to get rich quick on. That's just my opinion... final decision is down to you ! Good Luck. | funtimejonny
21/3/2016 17:57 | Is now a good time to buy in to Wentworth or will i wait for a drop? The future looks good for this! | laptop15
16/3/2016 09:31 | Famous last words about electricity suppliers having no difficulty getting paid: hxxp://www.ippmedia. "There is growing concern among gas supplying companies that [the 1.1% tariff reduction being proposed to Tanesco] will cripple the already cash strapped state utility which collects barely enough to service debts ... “We may put our gas increase production on temporary hold because of the risk of delayed payments,” an official at Wentworth in Dar es Salaam, said. Probably standard negotiation sabre-rattling. Not to worry. also: "In its tariff application to EWURA dated 24th February, 2016 Tanesco has indicated that the tariff it is proposing starting April would only allow it to meet its cash obligations in 2016 without including the payment of an outstanding sum of about US$ 320 million owed to its lenders and trade creditors as of December, 2015." | wbodger
15/3/2016 14:30 | it is useful they regularly release these. good to hear they are being paid for gas produced, which was the key risk. they just need to pump up the volumes and we are sitting pretty. | oregano
15/3/2016 13:44 | Anyone know why Anadarko, PTTEP and M&P relinquished Tembo, but WRL didn't? WRL takes over 85% of the licence, which discovered gas in December 2014. Those are big companies to give up on a discovery. | wbodger
15/3/2016 13:37 | It's quite a good presentation. Downplaying the recovery of the big account receivable and focusing on opportunities for more exploration. Couple of good graphics. It will be a big step if Kinyerezi comes on stream in two weeks because there will be an immediate scramble for resources, especially as the electricity suppliers will find it easy enough to get paid. | wbodger
15/3/2016 08:20 | WRL & AEX & SOLO blackgold00 15 Mar'16 - 08:17 - 55999 of 55999 1 0 Well if Aminex won't provide a presentation we'll have to read Wentworth's, they have one out today | liquid millionaire
08/3/2016 15:46 | Thanks - I did notice that but surprised it has been called "Income" | puku
08/3/2016 10:26 | That's a nice spreadsheet El Dorado. I do like the fact that WRL give clear guidance as to expected gas sales to make modelling a bit easier. In case it wasn't clear Puku, the difference is the recognition of deferred tax assets due to the fact that now the company delivering gas to the pipeline it is expected to make profits which means that the previously unrecognised tax losses can be offset against these going forward. | nehpets81
08/3/2016 07:01 | I had just looked at the £46.89 million quoted above by advfn but I have just looked at LSE which is giving a Market Cap of £55 million. This is good. | 888icb
08/3/2016 00:15 | Wentworth up 5% and now has a market cap of £47 million. It would be good to continue the rise and achieve £50 million by the end of the week. Many funds will not invest in companies of less than £50 million market cap so it will come on more radars if it can push just a little higher. | 888icb
06/3/2016 23:48 | puku: What's important about WRL is actual cash flow. Don't let "non-cash deferred tax assets" disturb the bigger picture. hxxp://personal.file | el_dorado
06/3/2016 14:13 | I am new to this share. Grateful if someone can explain the difference between these figures in the Accounts -- Net Income $27.03 m and Gas Rev $4.64 m. Where is that income derived. IC had Pretax as - $7.1 negative but eps as 17c positive. All very puzzling ? | puku
04/3/2016 15:36 | Yeah, I'm not registered there, but I hope he reads your appreciation here, to which I add mine. Sounds informed, doesn't it? If he has any more to say I will post it here. | wbodger |
