Results out today show that the company is sitting on 6.5p per share in cash, and has other assets that are significantly undervalued in the balance sheet.

The company is actively looking at a reverse takeover, but I would be surprised if they did anything below 10p.

WTH results issued today confirm their continued holding of 7.3% of Petards with some added comments, but no specific reference to any WTH bid interest.
Would be interested to hear any reactions to their results and comments.

Does anyone have any idea if this company still owns Petards PLC shares. According to Petards website WTH owns 46,500,000 or 7.30% share in Petards.

Does anyone know if Waterhall are a likely bidder for Petards or is it purely an investment?

Ref posts 39/40. News today regarding several differing interests in Petards looks to me to be positive for Waterhall. Do we know when their results are due?

Ref Water Hall plc stake in petards which said the following :-
WATER HALL PLC..........

Given its strong asset base and cash position the directors consider the Group (WTH)
remains well placed to pursue selective acquisition and investment
opportunities. The directors therefore wish to retain liquid funds within the
Group for future development; hence no dividend has been declared for the period
(2006 - nil).
ALSO SAID.............

The board considers Water Hall is in a strong position to seek selective acquisition and investment opportunities and will keep its shareholders informed of further progress as appropriate."
Do we know if they have upped their stake since their last buying spree

With the cash from the sale of Premier shares in the bank, they should be sitting on around £4.3m in cash, plus six months cash flow from business operations. Throw the land in as well, and the share price looks well covered.

Havard Bidco offer looks like lapsing today as they will not extend date. Maybe some press coverage about WTH tomorrow or next week.

Latest RNS shows WTH holds 1322320 PAM shres. At PAM market price of 288p this investment is now valued at £3.8mln which is a large proportion of WTH market cap. Further action / news awaited!!

in my notes I wrote: wth once rose 56% in a day
so moves sharply (both ways!) on few trades.
