16/6/2010 08:36 | I hope RA hasn't put the remaining cash into BP!!! | tiltonboy
13/6/2010 18:55 | solarno, The NAV of WTH has fallen substantially over the last year, but will hopefully get a boost from any possible land sales, however, how will that benefit shareholders. OVG have been on a huge discount for longer than I can remember, and guess what...they still are. Abdullah should sell all the assets and give cash back to shareholders. No more investments in other companies, thanks. | tiltonboy
13/6/2010 13:04 | Thanks but I take a somewhat different view towards net asset value | solarno lopez
13/6/2010 12:30 | solarno, NAV is only worth taking note of it they manage to realise the value to shareholders, i.e give them the cash back. I have no confidence in the current board in either securing a reversal or giving cash back to shareholders. tiltonboy | tiltonboy

27/5/2010 08:28 | but beans produce gas !! | solarno lopez
27/5/2010 07:35 | "available gas is capable of generating approximately 1MW of electricity per annum" Unless the director made a mistake in this statement, as yet another new adventure away from line of business! 1MW electricity per annum is not enough to fry an egg a day! What a load of beans! | ameer
26/5/2010 18:08 | as they say in gas terms ....lets keep the pressure up!! | solarno lopez
26/5/2010 17:30 | this bit........ In addition, the gas emissions from SFW and Old Water Hall Landfill are considered to have commercial value. At the beginning of the year, the Company successfully made an application to Ofgem for a single Renewable Obligation Certificate ("ROC") accreditation for the commercial utilisation of the gas. Preliminary indications suggest the available gas is capable of generating approximately 1MW of electricity per annum for a period of 8 to 10 years with the possibility of a lower but still commercially viable level of activity for a period of up to 5 years thereafter. The board is presently in discussions with a firm specialising in generating electricity from landfill gases. Any agreement will be subject to this firm carrying out gas trials to confirm the commercial levels of gas anticipated over a 10 year period. Subject to this confirmation, it would be the intention of the board to enter into a long term agreement with the firm to commercially utilise the landfill gases. This would be under a variable royalty arrangement based upon the electricity generated and the gross revenue, including any available subsidies under the renewable power obligations of the main UK electricity generator. | supercity
26/5/2010 17:28 | well...the reason i bought this share last year was because i was told there was a rumour that there could be commercial quantities of gas on their waste site...and now 12 months on it seems it is true. This share could be the bargain of the year if things pan out...i am amazed the market has not duigested the rns yet. get ready for a spike...imo. | supercity
