They are just wasting everybodys time, bar it clearly tells us holders we are holding a good long at 38p

They're an event driven hedge fund, they are never going to do that. I really don't know why they bothered increasing their offer by such a paltry amount it has no chance of success

I'm with trevor1234. 80p to £1.00.

I wish they would make a sensible offer or leave the existing management to just run the litigation to its conclusion.

Increased offer to 38p per share. It's still a lie ball offer. What's peoples thoughts ?

1% acceptances yet they extend the offer. Isn't the message clear already?

I think they are bound to hoover up a fair number of small holdings just to avoid the dealing costs

I suggest all read the RNS today which is the management's response to the offer.

Hold fast.

So Evil gives football tips as well!

I met him once when he did some accounting work for me years back. An interesting character indeed.

"You would think not but possible for a ridiculous offer to gain traction amongst the confusion of the exchange change & depending on the the shareholders? register. Big boys have always have a way to manipulate. Even with an improved offer I can see this going for a steal. ?"

The Polygon 'chancers' have just under 30%.

I think they need 90% or 95% (I forget which)to be able to sweep up all.

If they have decided such they would have put out an RNS even as though they delisted in my humble opinion.

Why would they recommend This offer and why would we except it with the legal actions still outstanding.
We could have took 60p only a few weeks ago
Are we being conned ?

Hi team,Can you please check your offer letters.HL brokers are saying :"The independent directors of WTG are unanimously recommending the 34p offer to shareholders"but Halifax doesn't say anything of the sort nor does the official announcement.

Gurjit, any offer obviously will go to a vote. I am not sure of the make up of the holders however my instinct says 'no dice' at the current indicated level - who knows mind.
