04/2/2011 12:12 | So there you have it. Looks like we have a new support level but an even larger ceiling to get past. Could be here along time now. | newkid
04/2/2011 11:04 | rns out. placing of 112m shares @ 2.7p | dougstewart
02/2/2011 14:07 | dummy trades can buy 50000 at 2.77 and many moe i expect no price to sell 50000 so still seems big seller around and price keeps drifting lower dispite the brilliant news on friday. Not sure what is going to take to see this move up! | warwick69
01/2/2011 23:02 | more sells end of day today | phil2003
01/2/2011 17:53 | at the end of 2008, Wasabi's subsidiary Global Geothermal issued a licence to the Kalina Cycle technology to Shanghai Shenghe New Energy Resources Science and Technology. This government backed organisation intends to roll out the techno logy to cement plants and other businesses where waste heat can be used. Global Geothermal will receive a royalty based on the size in MW of each plant. Longer-term, Global Geothermal intends to build and operate its own plants because this will provide a higher return for its cash. we should start to here some updates like the FLSmidth one last week from the chinese? | warwick69
01/2/2011 14:18 | Ashtree yes that is the $64,000 question what and how do you value this business? Yes probably plenty of sellers from placement but equally will be plenty of long termers and this is still well off most investors Radar. If the revenue stream is to be believed from the Kalina Cycle then for sure these levels will look silly and many will kick themselves for not having stayed the course or bought in when they had the opportunity. MR JB believes he is creating a billion $ business, that would move share price to ten times current share price why wait for 0.8p that you may just not get surely better to start to invest here and keep some back for futher purchase incase it does not retrace. | warwick69
01/2/2011 14:03 | Warwick ,did you say 445 mil shares at 1.1p.That to me sounds like a lot of cheap shares and there are going to be profit takers unless we are fed continuous good news? It's tricky at present to guess what the company is worth ,my feeling is that the share price will move down nearer to 2p once the initial excitement dies down.imho so I am waiting for a lower entry level.good luck. | ashtree2
01/2/2011 12:12 | very quiet here today about a million trades all purchases all made to look like sells again, still seller being worked ny mm's. Oh for the day when they have no seller to work an order for wonder how many being offloaded? well with 445 million being issued at 1.1 and since launch only a few days where more than 10 million have been traded maybe there could be a lot of sellers looking to bank substantial profits from friendly placement? hope i am wrong, anyone care to comment? | warwick69
01/2/2011 11:16 | GL warwick. I took a small punt on this a couple of weeks back and am very happy to hold long term and see how this pans out. o/t do you invest in oilies, XEL may still have some mileage. | idougstewart
01/2/2011 11:10 | I am sure China is waiting in the wings Stephen Morris sounds like a man on a mission to promote this technology to the world. The john Byrne connection now he is 100% commited will be the driving force for Wasabi. If he thinks this can be come a billion $ company i would not put it past him he has form. He is set fair to make a truck load of money, so in his own interest, i like investing in newb companies where employee/directors have a good stake. | warwick69
01/2/2011 11:06 | it is a bit, any word on China and Steel Industry ? give it 6 months and you wont spell it any other way. | idougstewart
01/2/2011 10:53 | cheers Idoug yeah what a mouthful for the dislexic. | warwick69
01/2/2011 10:50 | thanks for that. FLSmidth btw. | idougstewart
01/2/2011 09:35 | Phil2003 - many thanks for the reference links - serious kudos there! I was concerned on reading the info about the plant being shut down. In now sounds like the Icelanders are to blame, but I will read carefully. Any further links will be appreciated. | speedy
01/2/2011 08:38 | NewKid good to hear we need a few new entrants to join the party? very disapointed though at market reaction to fridays RNS. i thought we would fly through3.5p on such a big new contract hopefully only the first of many more to come. I must confess very impressed with management of this company so far, they are available for comment and answer enquiries quickly, so keen to keep news flow coming. | warwick69
01/2/2011 08:06 | warwick69. I know alot of PI's who got in at the beginning with very large positions and are happy to hold long term, as am I. | newkid
31/1/2011 12:22 | JB sees this growing into a Billion $ compsny that would give target share price of about 50P and you can get that tax free in your ISA. The royalties for new plants are one off not recurring annually. But they aim to licence FL Schmidt so as they built more than half the cement works they could esily get to 10% share, the revenue will allow the company to start to build there own Kalina Cycle plants with recurring income stream. This is a very exciting new business. I am very surprised there has been such a muted response to Friday's news flow. | warwick69
31/1/2011 11:40 | hot copper posters today A very good ann today, missed by hc for some reason for some reason. Hopefully they can convert initial contract into an ongoing strategic partnership. No financials mentioned and not sure how much such a system ought to cost to the end user, $10-15m perhaps? | andrbea
31/1/2011 09:29 | mm's raising offer gues they are trying to make all buys at 2.96 look like sells again ? nearly all buys today once this gets the last of early IPO entrants out who have been selling into this rally i reckon this will fly up to new highs? IMO Few days on the top riser list will get more players interested. | warwick69
31/1/2011 09:26 | from poster on iii good summary Good to see this board picking up some good discussions and informative posts. The RNS that came out yesterday showed promise of bright things to come. In the main 4 headings in yesterday RNS it said " Generation of licensing and engineering revenues through the Kalina Cycle® project contract" From the research done today i understand that; -DG Khan Cement Company own the Greenfield Cement Plant at KhairpurVillage -FDSmidth are going to build a power plant in the Kairpur region for the DG Khan Cement Company -FDSmidth are going to work with Wasabi Energy who will provide them with front end engineering design, procurement and commissioning services and a project specific sub license. I don't know anything about the cement industry so would take from this that Wasabi will generate its revenue from; -the project specific sub license (for using Kalina Cycle Technology??) -helping with Engineering/Procurem What i don't know is what the financial agreement would be for something like this. Any takers? Once the project is complete, and if successful, i would guess that for every cement plant that FDSmidth win a contract for they would use the Kalina Cycle technology and would require a project specific sub license for each different plant (£££). Either that or they would have to buy the technology outright (££££) Having scrolled though the website of FDsmidth their credentials and network seem fantastic. Just looking at their page on Cement Projects you can see that their are lots of possibilities where they could utilize the technology that Wasabi has. Tie this is with the fact that there are 15,000 cement plants in the world today and the future becomes very exciting even before we get into the massive push there will be on all things Green and energy efficient. No Wonder John Byrne said that their are "significant synergies with our patented technology and the core capabilities of FLSmidth" Moving onto the Steel market next. Well if the relationship with FLSmidth is a good one then maybe they can help. In their "other industries" section it states; FLSmidth provides the robust and reliable processing equipment and services to support your application in the steel industry. Obviously it's very early days but this just highlights the possibilities and make you realize the importance of the RNS earlier in the month which confirmed 100% control of the Kalina Cycle technology JB again: "This announcement today marks another significant milestone for Wasabi Energy. Through our acquisition of Global Geothermal Limited and in turn its own wholly owned subsidiary Recurrent Engineering LLC, Wasabi Energy has obtained complete ownership of the core Kalina Cycle® technology portfolio." "Given the unprecedented interest in energy efficiency technologies, we believe having complete control over the Kalina Cycle®, provides Wasabi Energy with a strategic and globally significant opportunity." This is a long term hold, people will still sell at 3p and make a quick 50% if they bought at 2p, but that last sentence again; "strategic and globally significant opportunity." Consider ourselves lucky/fortunate/well researched to be in this share so early on. As always DYOR and good luck in your investments | warwick69 |
