I enjoyed meeting them at Mello. If they crack America got to be a great chance these at least double again. It'll take time of course but worth be patient I would think.

UK cosmetic companies protest UK alignment with EU laws on animal testing to ensure worker safety.

"... in 2020 the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), an EU agency which oversees chemical regulation, ruled that companies needed to test some ingredients used in cosmetics on animals to ensure they were safe for workers manufacturing the ingredients.

During the case it was revealed that since 2019 the government had been issuing licences for animal testing of cosmetic ingredients in line with EU chemical rules, which it retained despite leaving the EU in 2020..."

The big things are they have a product that, once they get a foothold, sells well and gets them in more stores, plus they have a large manufacturing base so, not only can they change factories or increase production easily, they can also negotiate heavily on cost control.
Managing third party production can be horrendous at times, but mutually beneficial when you both understand each others demands and needs.
I can imagine some small town in china where they have a factory where all the girls are dolled up with the latest makeup.

Technically, this is one of the clearest bowls you can hope to get and the depth of the bowl being 130p gives further upside to a minimum 370p, look at the 3yr chart to see this textbook set up. The fundamentals support it which is great as they sign further deals in large store chains, particularly exciting are the US prospects. Hold. Dyor.

At least you're not short, ha. Obviously will get some profit taking at this 250p area, if it's going higher then that supply will be absorbed pretty quickly, time will tell.

Yes, Sam describes the change of strategy well in that interview. He also says, to paraphrase, that he would consider selling the business over internal succession, at the right price. The market cap is now at a level where institutions might become more interested.

Can I ask why the interest in 2017? It fell a lot more the following year and the business has matured and grown since then.Could have been their H1 where sales were up but bottom line profit was down:Group headline Profit Before Tax was GBP2.9 million compared to GBP3.1 million for H1 2016, a decrease of 7.4%. Adding back the additional operating expenses detailed above for the PLC costs and the amortisation of intangibles would adjust the Profit Before Tax to GBP3.2million for H1 2017, a 3.2% increase on H1 2016.
