@dh1706 - THG Group. Been long rumoured so doubt the latest rise is that - more likely a tip somewhere from one of the more esoteric tip sheets. W7L are hardly pricey, even here.

Certainly not complaining. Always been rumoured as a THG target, but he's giving £100m to charity, not to us W7L'ers ;)

Agreed, according to the company, annual results are due out in April - may be something’s leaked?
The company would have to release an RNS if anything material has happened since trading update!

Why is market reacting yesterday to a TU released on 18th Jan? Must be something else?

Sales for last year are expected to be £40m but sales for this year (to 31/12/2021) could be £120m to £150m with the rollout with Tesco. That would give an enterprise value of £600m to £750m.

The trading statement was very good. Looks like it wants to gap back up to 270p and beyond.

Jobs for the boys. This Hagon guy seems to have been quietly made up to Executive Director, presumably with salary commensurate... but of course this role doesn't take up all of his time so he's free to bilk the company for some more via his own vehicle. Nice work if you can get it.

This kind of boardroom antic doesn't inspire me one bit. Accordingly I have taken my medicine and sold at a loss

Agreed. At least they're being open about it, but not sure it justifies today's move up.

Always frustrating when directors manage to get paid extra for something most people would expect they should be doing anyway :/

These are looking undervalued, is it likely other supermarkets will stock their products?

A push-pull btwn much lower make-up sales (don't need much if you're wearing a mask), & supermarkets being one of the few places to buy, where W7L is making headway.

I'm planning to stay in long term: if they gain traction there's loads of room in the valuation to go up a multiple.

Moved really well and a nice statement to confirm the bullish move. These are the ones that have provided some decent opportunities of late. The market has been slow to re-rate in light of the trading recovery.

From the short term perspective, it has now reached the target area (as per many others) so over to market participants to decide on the next move - plenty of profit taking opportunities along the way.

My two pennies worth says the next move will be a view on whether the upgrade cycle has just begun and whether the valuation has therefore factored in an extrapolation of the expected upgraded earnings.

All imo
