Christ there's some psyco's on this board, tech trader filtered.

I watched the Mello presentation, very impressed by Sam Banzini, he addressed the sales in the US very well I thought, he's not rushing things and being steady in increasing customers and volumes in existing stores without blowing the budget on advertising on TV etc. but like they do eveywhere else by social media etc. They are in so many countries, they know what they are doing, it's proven.

You have to subscribe to Mello to watch, seems stupid to me....

Warpaint have their own video which I hadn't seen before and looks like made for the US market, see end of link - so much info in a minute or so, excellent.

I just googled Warpaint W7L video, in case link doesn't work.

Good luck to non psyco's :-)

Not sure about the "next push" but:
- back above 100dsma
- just above 50dsma
regaining better than medium term average trend growth of > 50%pa.
Next resistance about 595/600p and all looks positive.

That means setting up a whole new distribution along the t&c of the retailers

Exactly right

Hence cost base rises product distribution slows b4 economies and speed kick back in in time 👍

Meantime buy the lows 🩳 the ramped spikes 🤣🍾🥂 happy days😜

rar It was a comment about QSmell posts, he states macro economic reasons for shorting W7l then the next minute he’s bought in again so I’m sure he’s not fooling anyone. Well maybe you

So don’t be so paranoid

Well done? The guy’s a complete tool! And some wonder why PIs are not respected by companies? Instead of bothering the management with stupid questions try doing some research yourself, it’s all available for everyone to see. You are a relevant newcomer here so allowances could be made but you are already annoying me.
You might want to start by reading the last few years of this thread for starters as you clearly can’t even determine the serious investors from the kindergarten fools.

From Warpaint

As you would have seen from our interim results, the company continues to perform strongly and the results were well received by the market.

With respect to the Simply Wall Street article, there were two cash changes highlighted by management in the H1 earnings call. Firstly, 30 June was a Sunday, so a sizeable customer paid an invoice due on 30 June on 1 July because of the weekend, therefore the invoice remained part of trade receivables.

Secondly, due to a change in the collection process of HMRC, Warpaint paid tax for H2 2023 in H1 2024 as usual AND had to pay tax for H1 2024 on account. The company noted that it had paid £3.1m more YoY in taxes as a result.

Stripping these out, the accrual ratio is in line with historic levels.

That specific issue was not asked about on the Mello call.

Mello doesn't appear to show recent replay videos so no idea when the Warpaint bit will be viewable.

Warpaint are in contact with Simply Wall Street and said that SWS are pretty good at removing eroneous information.

The Times said that the top 50 AIM stocks were down 5% over August/Sept while the FTSE was up 2%.

My take on the USA based on the presentation reading between the lines is the market is very large but it might take time to penetrate. They are concentrating on profits not just revenue growth for the sake of it hence the slower growth in USA recently. They mentioned the agents in USA who you have to go through to get in to new stores. Overall I think the prospects are good but my impression is the recent brake neck growth might slow a bit and as this is quite highly rated I have decided to exit for now after a very good year. I'll be keeping tabs on it and wouldn't be surprised to see a further small beat after Xmas reading.

That’s all irrelevant to your trading strategy though isn’t it? Unless trying to de-ramp the share is part of the strategy. If you were so bothered by macro economic conditions on the share price of W7L you wouldn’t be buying it every few weeks at a higher price you sold it at. 🤪

Simples.....main man sells a chunk

Numbers are down from previous Q trends

US election creates uncertainty

US requires new distributor centres

That takes time and investment

Expansion will match to ability to supply to avoid issues brand and reputational damage.

That's all good but will impact Growth trajectory that's all.

Takes time so expect some pullback consolidation b4 any sudden sustainable rise.

🩳 ramped spikes buy the silly dips.

"Hence cost base rises product distribution slows b4 economies and speed kick back in in time ?"How do you account for them increasing their distribution channels while also increasing margins? More complete drivel from the smelly one.I can guarantee if the price falls today, he'll be declaring he was short at the highest price it reached yesterday

Founder run companies are generally understood to be the most attractive to invest in.

"Some investors may be tempted to bank some gains but it is worth noting that Bazini and Macleod still own more than 40 per cent of the business and remain deeply committed to its continued success. That makes these shares a strong hold."

"Midas article"
