Well played tt, Qs could learn from you how it’s done.

For me, happy to hold. Not a trader. Build sizeable position in good well run companies with many yrs of growth to come. Sit back and collect increasing dividends and watch the compound effect..

Thanks Philly for your thoughts, can't argue with your thinking. Only that July / Aug this year saw growth in non-essential consumer spending in hospitality and leisure compared to last year (where it was a wash out weather wise).So fingers crossed!.

Great post Philly. I did similar calcs but didn't break down by each quarter. I came to a similar conclusion so took some extra at £5 earlier in the week. Some feedback on your post...not enough emojis to get to the "Smelly Level" of insight

In both 2022 & 2023 we know the split for Q1, Q2 & the first 2 months of Q3, as W7L provided the 8 month data in last years interims.

Per my workings the detail is as follows;

Q122 - £13.2m
Q222 - £12m
July + Aug 22 - £12.3m

Q123 - £18.5m
Q223 - £18.2m
July + Aug 23 - £18.1m

In 2024 we know the following;

Q124 - £23.5m (+27%)
Q224 - £22.5m (+24%)

Based on the two prior years, I'd say it's highly likely that July + Aug comes in at around £22.5m, which would be +24% YoY growth.

If it does then YTD revenue would be £68.5m vs full year forecasts of £105.7m, leaving the final 4 months needing to find >£37.2m to beat forecasts

The final 4 months of 2023 recorded revenue of £34.8m, so this would require growth of just under 7%. If growth is maintained at H124 levels then the final 4 months will hit £43m and revenue will beat by just over £6m

Based on the OTC remarks around being 'extremely comfortable' with broker forecasts plus the near 3 year record of under promise & over deliver, I'd say the odds on a beat look very good indeed.

Obviously everyone needs to do their own research / no investment advice intended.

At the OTC market presentation to investors (available on you-tube) - right at the end - he says to ‘watch this space re announcement re Tesco’ .Well we still haven’t heard anything. Wonder whether we will get news at the interims next week. Certainly should get a big update on Walmart gifting sales and progress on the doubling of Superdrug outlets from 1 July.
Could do with news of getting into more retailers as well because we keep getting promises in the TU’s.

This looks to me like someone had a margin call on another stock and liquidated here quickly to cover their other position. Then trailing stop losses hit and others panicked thinking there might be a profit warning.
No company news so trading within expectations.

Summer has been a bit of a washout so maybe lower end though we shall see. Hopefully still big growth from usa
