11/6/2020 15:15 | Why is the company leaving it to virtually the last moment to publish the year end results ? If the numbers are not so important for 2019,and there wasn't any major post year end contracts or sales to announce, surely they would have published by now, and have it over and done with. Therefore, to my simple mind anyway, they must believe they have something of substance to report very shortly, otherwise they're going to look pretty foolish if its just more on the potential/possibilit I can't think a company such as VRE would be so stupid as to adopt this course of defensive action, because if so, credibility is going to go down the plughole as sure as eggs are eggs. AIMO. | corrientes

10/6/2020 13:57 | The proof of the pudding is in the execution this time corrientes. They were asked....they delivered. | hazl
10/6/2020 13:03 | It seems those who wanted in have now done so, leaving potential investors waiting on proof before they jump in. No amount of blurb will change this at the moment. The market for small caps has been difficult enough over the last few months, so VRE has done well to get to where it is. IMO. | corrientes
10/6/2020 10:58 | Like others I've seen some real Blue Sky potential over the years, which never go on to deliver on the promise. With VRE I'm genuinely excited for a number of reasons, not least, the market is on the cusp of exponential growth, the Engage platform works and works well and the company is now closely aligned to a massive industry player.Obviously the key risk is one of execution, but on a risk/reward basis I'm more than happy to sit tight. | hastings
10/6/2020 10:49 | They made sure that there were instructions put in place on how to download and install Engage. They organized pre-event trainings in Engage and Zoom-support, and during the first hour of the event, they were bombarded with last-minute requests from people who didn’t do all the pre-installation beforehand. | hazl
10/6/2020 10:48 | 'The purpose of this experiment was to try and replicate a real-live investor event fully in VR and to keep the value that it brings to all the participants, including startups and investors. We divided the event into a public part that included on-stage pitches from eight selected startups, a panel discussion with VC’s and a Q&A, and a private in-VR part that included one-on-one meetings and an essential aspect of any investor event — business networking. Here is a short summary:' 'Dave Haynes from HTC Vive X made it possible to turn this idea into a reality and provided invaluable support from Engage side.' snippets | hazl
10/6/2020 10:44 | 'It’s been over two months since SXSW was canceled, and we found ourselves in the new COVID reality. On March 18th, I published a piece entitled Going Virtual: Where Do We Start? And it was only the beginning when — led by the XRCrowd initiative — XR community started regular #ZeroEvent group-testings to see which platforms fit best for various virtual events. Now, less than two months later, I want to expand on this topic and share what I’ve learned from this crazy journey as an organizer, speaker, and participant of virtual events in the last two months.' 'From VR to VR: viewers inside Laval Virtual World are watching livestream from XRBase virtual event inside Engage VR' hastings only just looked at your medium link! Engage well and truly covered! | hazl

10/6/2020 09:53 | How long is a piece of string dubois? It is a bit political at the moment but it will come. Too many companies have put a lot into it. | hazl
10/6/2020 09:36 | When do we expect 5g to be national? Current price is 21.7 v 22.2 | dubois
10/6/2020 09:32 | If they can do all this already think what it will look like when 5G is implemented as well. That is the catalyst for a whole seachange! | hazl
10/6/2020 09:24 | I think those of us that have been here for too many years to remember, know that we are all guilty at some point in the past of getting sucked into a share emotionally, only to find out it wasn't as good as we wanted to believe it was. Then bang and it has all gone again. Here feels different, we are not waiting for them to find that pot of gold or billions of barrels of oil. This is proven technology which is already doing the business. There seems little doubt that VR Education (Needs a name change as it is far more than just education), which has only been on aim for a couple of years, is moving towards the number one spot in this sector (imho of course). something will happen soon that may well just propel it to a totally different level. I'm trying to look at this with my head and not my heart. | dubois
10/6/2020 09:15 | Fascinating stuff.A whole new industry is opening up here.VR has had a few false dawns, but this time a number of factors are combining to make it unstoppable, imo. GLA | astralvision

10/6/2020 09:01 | Very interesting read here from the perspective of someone covering the vr sector. I particularly like this comment. "Translating VR into flat The Engage VR platform has a very important feature — the ability to record a scene holographically. This is unique in itself — you can record and replay a full 3D scene, and you can feel as if you’re reliving it, which makes us wonder about the future of entertainment. Would it be possible to record the Oscars Award Ceremony, for example, and an unlimited number of viewers will be able to replay it having a seat inside the Theater? Or would it be possible to replay a movie scene with you being inside? From an inside-VR perspective, it opens a new layer for the industry — participatory entertainment". | hastings
10/6/2020 09:00 | Perhaps £100m market cap, so something like just over 40p.Wonder if we're going to have another bash to clear all time high today and move into clear water territory? All time high was a tad over 25p, acted as a bit of resistance last time.Just a question of time, imo, before we smash through thatGLA | astralvision |
