The results were pretty much as expected yesterday.

The good news was that there was EUR 5m in the bank at 30 June 2018 and this was before the release of Titanic VR on 18 August.

The number of staff has increased to 31 from 20 as well since IPO - which is nearly 2 people per month - that's pretty impressive for what is effectively a start-up in its early stages of development in a small county in Ireland, 2 hours outside of Dublin.

Now the staff numbers are up, the company can concentrate on building the next big project. I think once Apollo 11 and Titanic go live on the Playstation and PSVR there will be an uplift in sales and exposure here.

For a company with a current mkt cap of £26m and EUR5m in the bank with cashflow already coming into the business this is good company to invest in, particularly as it is in a high growth sector.

I would like to see the company increase the PR side of the business with the Titanic app - more advertising perhaps? a TV advert might be a bit much but maybe some newspaper adverts wouldn't go a miss. Once the Playstation version is live.

I think the Oculus Go will make a great xmas present at the price point it is and VRE need to make the most of that with some advertising to get their work seen.

Quick glance at the interims and much as expected from what I have seen.
General disenchantment with techs now I think.
Will see how it goes.

Just looking again it looks different from what I saw at the time, there were definitely three trades, but now appears as 110 and 120k sells.
Either way hopefully the point is the same, overhang cleared!

On Tuesday, i think it was, there were three trades of 2x220k and 1x110k. Maybe that was the overhang and it's gone. More positive price action since looks positive in that regard, so hopefully now we are on for that rebound we were hoping for

Good points people...still pleased with the potential here but agree tech stocks have had a few dodgy moments recently when they had been all the rage.
Have just put on the back-burner for now.

Am surprised with the drop in share price as the company was nominated for an award at the Venice film festival for its work for the BBC on the Berlin Blitz recently.

Part of the problem is that we are in a closed window before results as the Directors cannot buy pre-results which are coming out on 18th.

The results will not show the sales figures of the recent Titanic VR experience as this was just released post results. What it will show is how much cash is left in the bank post IPO which will give us a steer on how the company is going.

The stock was oversubscribed at IPO so why is it not pushing higher now? Mkt cap now currently circ.£25m which is not very much if they still have say £5m cash in the bank.

The company has been expanding its staff recently so has beefed up its capabilities to grow the company further next year.

The Titanic VR app is currently selling for £14.99 on the rift but has not yet been deployed I think on the Playstation or PSVR. That could be a reason for the drop?

Either way I just think this drop is short term - the company would be prime for a takeover at this level I think.

Just IMO.

Must be a line of stock looking for a home i think. Frustrating but with the BBC work aforementioned to come and results not far away, hoping for a nice rebound. This company is in a real sweet spot in my opinion

We are also now back to where we last saw director buys at 16p.....

Perhaps once the results are out of the way we might see some more director buys?

Looking at the Titanic VR reviews on Steam, where the game is currently priced at $19.99 or £15.49, all the reviews since the game was released are all really good.

Here are a few of the reviews.....

"The game used to be mostly underwater with occasional puzzle solving in a lab-like setting where you solve puzzles and perform tasks. With full launch you can now experience the sinking of the ship. I won't spoil anything, but it's pretty awesome. The game now feels much more complete with a story campaign, sandbox exploring, guided tours and the ship sinking experience mentioned above. Some Titanic enthusiasts are uptight about it not being 100% accurate, but it's easily the most accurate experience not just in VR, but in all of gaming. Can recommend for sure!"

"Experienced on the Oculus Rift!.....I have deliberately stayed away from this product until tonight. I have experienced the VR sinking of Titanic and just finished the long tour into the heart of the ship and I just had to drop you all a line and say thank you for one of the most incredible VR experiences I have had up to date! The tour through the wreck was incredibly eerie but informative as well. Will more content be added. i.e. Striking of the ice berg, leaving Southampton docks???? It makes me realise just how educational the whole concept of VR can be. I have yet to experience your Apollo re-creation , which I bought at the same time, but am looking forward to it after being immersed in Titanic VR. Once again team, fabulous work and I hope it pays off financial dividends to your self in order that you produce more content in the future! Many thanks."

"Amazing and gives you a sense of scale in a way that only VR can. So far, I have only looked at the wreck from the outside and have not dared to go inside the wreck... almost too realistic!"

Was surprised on the drop the other day - some disappointed the Titanic App wasn't promoted more?

Either way it is out now and currently on the front page of experiences for Oculus Rift priced at £14.99 which is higher than I expected but not a bad thing.
It currently has 50 ratings and overall 4/5 stars - The bundle with Apollo VR is now £20.99

Quite a subdued reaction to today's launch. Hopefully a bit of publicity over coming days/weeks will see people waking up to the imho fantastic story unfolding here. A good run up to results would be nice

The good thing about VRE versus IMMO or EVRH is the company is generating cash now and we can all see the revenue stream coming through the door.

IMMO is definitely the future for 'out of home' gaming experiences and I expect to see IMMO have a VR station at every bowling alley, pool hall, theme park, Airport, etc. all over the world in a few years time. But thats the problem with IMMO is that it will all take time for that to happen so it will be a slow burner and will require a great deal of cash as each station will take time to make a profit.

EVRH will also take time to generate serious income from music events, I still have to be convinced that VR in Music will work but it does have potential, I'm just not sure how. If EVRH offered Sports events such as the Premier league, NFL, NBA, F1, Tennis, Golf, FIFA World cup, Olympics, etc. then I would be all over it but as it just offers music then it doesn't have the appeal to me or much of the older generation I feel.

VRE is different as it can create VR games, content in a reasonably short time period, working with world class content creators such as Loren Carpenter and potentially move into Film, TV (BBC), and Education.

For me VRE is best place to be for the virtual reality ride as returns will be quicker and thats ultimately the key.
