£3m is odd indeed - why not more if that was the expected market reaction?

Interesting news today. Seems a strange amount to raise but was done at a decent price.

Market seems to like it anyway :-)

Quite a bounce - was looking at selling last week having taken that big fall and held for a bounce but it has seemed pretty firm.

Dunno where I stand now really :-)

25% is a big bite to hold if you do not intend to bid. This is at times not the most liquid of stocks, so to unload could be difficult. Question is do Rothschild think there is another bidder out there?

About 136k shares - helpful but not massive.

Interesting close:

Although frankly the chart was worse than useless (in that it was misleading) for the period prior to the results. All I take from it is that someone, be it Blackrock and/or Rothschild, is buying, despite the dismal results. May they carry on doing so...

Blackrock also reduced their short from 1.89% to 1.67%

And still the little people sell, and yet it continues to rise.

All good...

Transaction: 14 Nov;

Seems a fault by the buyer. A youngster who doesn't yet know the rules ?

The NR transaction happened on the day of the warning (14th) so guess it was an opportunistic one at a low price. Six days to announce it seems lax on someone's part :)

Nathaniel.

Officially with an inheritance of circa £500m but probably closer to £40bn.

Frankly pretty difficult to know what to buy with that sort of cash.

Previously he has owned greater than he presently does, but ulitmately we look to be filling the gap...

Director buying - agree.

It is Rothschild isn't it?

Full name of person(s) subject NR Holdings Limited
to the
notification obligation:

NR being Nathan(iel?) Rothschild. Chase are just the broker.

Was 15.1m, now 15.7m shares. I don't think we have two 24% shareholders...

No bid, alas...

Very exciting, a holder that has increased its holding to just short of 25% at 30% a bid has to be made.
