Verizon Wireless Announces Major Hiring Effort in Kansas & Missouri

KANSAS CITY, Kan., April 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless is adding nearly 70 full-time positions before the end of June in the states of Kansas and Missouri. The positions will be based across the two states and interested candidates may apply by visiting the Verizon Wireless website at www.vzwcareers.com.

The new positions offer competitive salaries and benefits, including health care coverage that begins on the first day of employment, and participation in the company's 401 (k) program with a dollar-for-dollar of up to six percent of an employee's salary contribution.

Verizon, which employs more than 1,100 people across the states of Kansas and Missouri, offers tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance and bonuses.
