RNS Number:2042U Scoot.com PLC 16 November 2000 16 November 2000 Scoot.com plc Partnership agreement with Vizzavi Scoot.com plc, "Scoot" or the "Company", the leading buyer-centric European infomediary, is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Vizzavi, the joint venture between Vodafone Group plc and Vivendi Net. Under the strategic partnership agreement Scoot will become the preferred directory service of the Vizzavi multi-access portal. This first level co-branded service will initially be offered in France and the UK and is thereafter expected to be rolled-out across Europe as and when the joint services become available. In addition the parties expect to work closely together in areas such as technology and product development and more specifically in respect to a shared roadmap for personal and location-based services. The proprietary Scoot exchange with its geospatial and attribute capabilities is perfectly positioned to facilitate this seamlessly. Commenting on today's announcement Robert Bonnier CEO of Scoot said: Vizzavi is rapidly becoming Europe's most prominent multi-access portal with a prospective user base of more than 100 million. Scoot's comprehensive infomediary service is ideally suited to form an integral part of the unique Vizzavi value proposition.
