This still has to go to the High Court after the EGM. The reason: There will be a reserve produced by the Capital Reduction but it is subject to the protection of creditors, hence the need to go to the High Court.

This is the official VTB explanation....

Capital Reorganisation

It is proposed that the Company will undertake a capital reorganisation
effectively converting each existing ordinary share of 0.1p into a new ordinary share of 2.5p. This will be effected by means of a bonus issue to all Shareholders on the register at the Record Date of 24 new Ordinary Shares for every 1 existing Ordinary Share held. Immediately thereafter every 25 Ordinary Shares will be consolidated into 1 new ordinary share of 2.5p (a "New Ordinary Share").

The effect of this is to leave the number of ordinary shares held by
shareholders exactly the same as before the reorganisation, whilst increasing
the nominal value of each share to 2.5p from 0.1p.

It is proposed that the authorised share capital is increased, inter alia to
permit the issue of the Consideration Shares.

BadaBing - agreed; does not alter the share's market value.

However, my contract note from March 2004 shows the nominal value at 0.1p, then after the WTV deal they raised it to 2.5p (no one knew why, some speculated it was for "merged accounts"?). But now VTB are lowering it back to 0.1p. If anyone speaks to the company, please ask WTF was that all about!

There can not be an issue of new shares below the nominal vale. As they wish to reduce it to 0.1 p from 2.5p one can only assume that there is a further placement on the way with a price below 2.5p.

It does look really bad to change this with in two months of the consolidation, is this because that was the only way to get it through the recent vote , now that's out of the way back to screwing small share holders, OR is it that the WTV management are now in control, and all of VTB's promises aren't worth anything now.

As far as I am aware shareholders will not see any decrease in the value of their holdings as a result of the RTO.....of course this does not prevent the MMs from changing the actual share price in the market.....if that makes any sense.....

Didn't VTB just raise the nominal value to 2.5p a few weeks ago??

rather than concentrating on one person..(which is not going to increase the shareprice).. concentrate on VTB and where they go from here.. is it further dilution via an acquisition.. or further contracts which will bolster the shareprice..

i think one has to pay more attention to where VTB is going rather than where GG has gone..

saffy..

GG is no longer posting and I don't blame him one bit. Why should he step into the fire?

I'm sure GG is nursing much bigger losses than us lot put together.

Move on.

Can my wife and I also second the comments by davidcod.

I do not hold GG to blame one bit, without his research I would have given up with TDO, instead I averaged down and regained my losses when I sold a large tranche at 6p.

To his detractors I say what have you given this thread? Look how the quality of the thread has dropped since GG has stopped posting.

Where are the new finds, the research?

Some of you need to take a good look at yourselves, from where I am sitting you look quite ludicrously pathetic.
