Not sure about a shake but it does look engineered, shorting maybe? a buyer depressing the share price to get a better deal? the volume does not warrant the fall recently, I've bought again twice this morning.

I expect the reversal soon so I bought another £2000 of VOG at 61p. Looks like a good deal in view of the potential upside. The downside at this level is very limited.IMHO.

This article makes frequent reference to the Douala/Bassa power station, and the benefit/flexibility that it provides. EG. Reducing brown outs or load shedding.
There is no way that this plant can get converted to another fuel, except by complete replacement, or removal.

A couple of pence fall and all the vermin reappear like Sleveen who watch VOG like a hawk.

Remember Sleveen was negative at 32p

Indeed.

I underestimated the impact of the hype from the "investment analysis" a few months back.

Well done to those that made a decent wedge from the share price uplift.

My view hasn't changed as to the merits of investing in VOG.

to be fair sleveen you've been a seller since 30p, and here we are down but still a double from there.

strong support at 60p, would need bad official news to send it thru imvho

Baticle

You didn't see it coming? I warned about it numerous times.

aye, could be that simple Baticle, and nothing sinister

I didn't see this coming but the delay in well completion and lack of power contract will have spooked a few investors for sure. We could do with some news but that might come with the Final Results for 2016

personally, given the overrun and overspend on these wells now, we should be getting a 4 weekly update imvho...

Dean, VOG will need a partner or a period of consolidation to regain strength in the balance sheet, if we have any more problems and delays it will put a strain on both the balance sheet and our strength in future negiotiations.

If the VOG BoD are listening, we need good news flow to stop share price drift and risk of a premature takeover.

I think drilling Matanda is sometime away, given the latest shenanigans, plus they'll be higher risk.....so imvho I believe VOG need COC/BLVN more than many people think.

I'm disappointed with the latest wells, late and overspent, by quite some margin, is really frustrating....they need to find a way of being more efficient going fwd...the company isn't big enough yet to hide these inefficiencies....hopefully, there aren't any more problems, cos if the costs go over $60m that would be disgraceful...I'm also a bit bothered about VOG seemingly taking most, if not all the risk.....

VOG always seems to drift without news and this has partly due some nasty delays, dilutions and disputes in the past. The lack of clarity on some of the agreements and relationships in the past has also played a part, which has in turn created uncertainty over the finances.

The last couple of years has seen real progress and the potential is clearly evident.

So we need a steady flow of good news until things reach a stable point at which point the analysts can predict VOG's future.

I think the Bowleven tie has been disregarded, could be oil price pressure, eneo contract renewal delay, drilling delay, take your pick.
