I was in early today 150,000 at 41.6p average inc all costs |
Happy to see it turn, appetite for this one is the question, we shall see, GLA |
Might happen. Old Geoff has a knack of recovering this co. |
Why not 3 quid - it's binary - it's either gonna make it or it's not. The CEO with 80k wedge says yes |
Back to a quid then |
Looks like it's alive - super Director buy 80k wedge |
All i know is a million shares have traded in 20 mins |
Bit busy with PANR but managed a few here.
Had a go too here for a short term high risk trade at just over 41p. Stop at under 39.5p.
All imo DYOR |
Decent CEO buy, have followed him with a smallish position on the pay down of debt play for 2025 and beyond....DYOR |
interesting buy. what's he trying to tell you? |
Whats going on here then 👀 |
Nice 80k director buy |
The battle of 40 pence looks set to continue. Sellers running out of shares, but how many do the buyers want? CEO buying shouldn't hurt the bounce theory. |
Sphere - you asked who is daft enough to be buying big here?
- Morgan Stanley
- Philosophy Capital
Spruce are clearly exiting but it appears there are plenty of buyers willing to take their stock.
It's way oversold, it's a big business, next debt renewal Aug 2026, they don't need to pay it off they just have to refinance. |
Yeah my retirement fund surely you buy big here.
Sell the yacht, buy big here!
(No chant coming on)
So it is Philosophy Capital Management picking up 6.5%, probably all in one go from Spruce. No idea who Philosophy Capital Management are, but the website is very shoddy.
What kind of philosophy is buying VCP?
Well, they're gonna have to pick up the rest of Spruce's holding and some to get the price moving. Looks like another big chunk of Spruce's holding cleared out on Friday, but not enough to get the traders excited.
Come on, show us some whoppers to see if 40p can break.
All imo DYOR |
Flooring Friday continues. From LIKE to JHD to VCP.
So Spruce have capitulated, knowing this pile of junk is knackered. Took em a while to work it out. Loads have been calling this down for a while. LIKE to mop up when this goes to the wall?
But interesting short term trading action here. So Spruce are bailing, shorts must be covering here too as the cost of borrow is too high, but who is daft enough to be buying big here?
There is a right ole ding dong going on at 40p. Been watching for a little while. Every time the buyers try and take control of 40p on the bid it gets cleaned out. If someone clears Spruce out here, could it actually pop higher for a short term bounce?
Even junk can bounce strong, before it gets sold into and continues its downward spiral to the crematorium.
The book is evenly balanced here with buyers in size at 39.5p vs sellers in size at 40p. Very tight range, probably move sharply depending on who wins the battle.
Watching in. Might have a quick go if it looks like a bounce is on, but boy will I feel DIRTYYYYYYYY buying even a small short term position here....oh yuk!
Let's hope the sellers win and close off 40p to avoid even being tempted!
All imo DYOR |
Spruce appear pretty much out now. Time for a bit of a bounce ? It's been all one way for weeks. |
Pug, guess @ E900, I checked the wrong shop?
Good luck with your nibble, possibly the right turning point, no interest but agree, possible move up.
I don't win em all, short BRBY, not good at all.
Long AMRQ, being pumped by Tom,
All good fun.
Dud |
Agreed expensive but more like 250 - 300 euros. Well done on closing short. Took a slight nibble yesterday Only time will tell. |
Pug,
Closed short, forget Cristal, E900 per bottle?
Veuve Click will do.
cheers |
I wonder if Morgan Stanley are also buying the bonds? |
Has the worm turned? |
Morgan Stanley might plug it.. |
It's been holed below the waterline. |
