Very strange Vianet seem to have password protected the Web site's front page.

I was chatting over a beer last night about selling these to free up the money to buy something else. If this is the news it appears to be then it might worth considering rebuying. Eating the rise together with the bid/offer is a bitter pill tho.

Always needed the phone and vending companys support to make it work, looks like orange have been convinced there will be machines to work with. Like the "initial" bit too, implies an income for vianet beyond vending machines.

When I sold my previous holding in Emerald Energy (EEN) they doubled within 2 weeks. Looking good for you lot. Wish I was still in but that's trading for you. I will take VIA off my monitor when it hits double figures and not look again.

Rumour of the day
VIANET, whose vOpen software enables the remote monitoring of vending machines, was pegged at 7.87p on AIM, despite word that partner Alcatel has struck a deal with Orange that should boost turnover. The two French companies are tipped to use vOpen in a venture promoting the use of mobile phones to make payments, with an initial focus on the vending industry.
