03/7/2014 17:36 | hbos showed the closing price at 0.175, so they did not take account of the rise today and therefore portfolio prices with Hbos are wrong....anyone know if 0.205 was the real closing price . | 4screws

02/7/2014 16:13 | My post copied from the other thread! As I said over the weekend I was at the ESHRE meeting in Munich over the last few days. Amazingly there was a presentation about this sort of assay by a Dr. Chiu from Hong Kong. Clearly she was one of the first people to utilise these tests, although she stressed that the current test is only used on at risk patients because of cost. The only question from the audience was whether this test should be offered to all patients. Her answer was that it was not feasible at the moment because of the cost and she seemed unaware of the imminent launch by Premaiha. Suffice to say there is definitely a massive market for this test. As I understand it the Premaitha price will be much cheaper than existing tests so in most affluent economies I am pretty certain this test will be offered to all women going forward. It may take a while but it is inevitable IMHO. So I will be buying more especially as our extra shares were scaled back. On that subject do we know yet what % of the extra shares we got? You can't work it out from the figure they gave because they didn't say how many rights shares were taken up. GLA Nobbygnome | nobbygnome

30/6/2014 22:48 | After a few clicks I found a bit more about NIPT. Worth a read and you'll note that on 21st June 2014 IONA test was still below the horizon. hxxp://www.jpost.com - this para is significant and confirms that IONA test is new and could be a major new entrant into this big market:- "Since then, five different commercial firms, aware of the huge and profitable potential market, developed their own proprietary variations of NIPT, based on Lo's work, and are offering them to pregnant women around the world. A physician has only to take the blood sample and airmail it to the company's lab, which for a few thousand dollars provides the answers in up to two weeks. The companies are Natera, Ariosa, Sequenom, Verinata/Illumina (all American) and BGI (Chinese). Here's hoping the patent is secure and just somehow the existing QRI technology we already have can keep IONA ahead of the competition for long enough so that some of the major bios come sniffing to do due diligence. | alimo

30/6/2014 14:14 | The option price will have to be 50P after share consolidation & it will have to remain above that level for over 30 days,so could go allot higher. When there product come to the market in January that rise could look like small change if there product really take off. There have been allot of interest from interested parties. | gekko68
30/6/2014 13:39 | Yes Hot-Stocks. 200% would be wonderful. | michaelx105
30/6/2014 13:35 | Michaelx105 _ Think we are more likely to see %200 gain in 1 month due to the demand & short supply of shares. They where %400 oversubscribed on recent fund raising. Less than £2 Million worth of shares are in private hands. They where tipped by hot-stocks today & Brockermandaniel few days ago. | gekko68
