04/12/2018 18:06 | In my early days (just over a year ago) of investing in VRS I was shocked to see that AAC had no graphene enhanced output and I sold off a chunk on that finding. Graphinks brought me back in and glad I did. Now Polygrene is not only a great product for VRS to sell to the market, it is a great opportunity for AAC to start using this to massively increase their sales. A double win for VRS so revenue will only go one way. | ![]() dgduncan
04/12/2018 17:43 | Scrutable - a huge order is a consummation most devoutly to be wished.Hasn't happened yet though, has it? I deal in facts, not fantasies. Let me guess - you voted Leave, right? | club sandwich
04/12/2018 17:27 | pshevlin, maybe graphene is the answer to combat climate change: "the team successfully used high-efficiency photocatalysts to convert carbon dioxide into usable energy, such as methane or ethane. This, they said, was done by placing graphene on reduced titanium dioxide in a stable and efficient way. This means the photocatalyst can selectively convert carbon dioxide from a gas to methane or ethane." VRS to the rescue :) | ![]() bisho4
04/12/2018 17:19 | Initiative Q is building a new payment network. To get people to adopt it, they’re giving away significant sums of their future currency to early people. They require only name, email, and an invite from an existing user. Here’s my invite link: | ![]() old fool2
04/12/2018 17:18 | We are indeed privileged to have posters on this board of the intellectual prowess of Scrutable and Adejuk. Their literary knowledge is formidable, their insight into philosophy is redoubtable. Their use of analogy and imagery is to be admired. It's just a shame that I haven't a clue what the hell they are on about. | ![]() festario
04/12/2018 17:13 | I'm shocked that today's news hasn't caused a much bigger rise... what are other investors looking at that could possibly be showing a bigger upside? As Scrut says, this new product is almost a company in it's own right worthy of the current market cap! Whatsmore, I firmly believe that Neill has many more surprises up his sleeve... For me, the main take on today's news is that Neill is bringing to fruition the first stages of what I have always thought was the path he intended the company to take. He likes to make things (I think those are the words he used), so it's not surprising that 'just' producing a product to enable others to do that would be enough for him... ;-) It does take the business to another level, one which will not be easy to replicate and one that I really can't get a true handle on how big it can eventually be. How lucky are we to be in at ground level... Thanks Neill (and team of course) exciting times and grateful to be a part of it all. | ![]() woodpeckers
04/12/2018 17:13 | To club sandwich and loggy and all deramping grafters who repeat ad nauseam that "despite a year's efforts and expectations no order has emerged" I would say like Hamlet to Polonius of the cloud of uncertain shape above "methinks tis like a whale" - in this case a highly pregnant whale. How would you ever be ever certain that a killer whale would evntually produce a calf in up to 17 months time | ![]() scrutable
04/12/2018 17:05 | I'd give up meat, as long as it didn't affect KFC or MacDonalds..... double cheeseburger for £1.49? How can anyone have a problem with that? | ![]() festario
04/12/2018 17:00 | Whilst some kind of natural disaster is immenent, due not only to climate change but the ever increasing human population, it wouldn't take much to change the course of the planets future. It would just take a UN resolution to ban eating meat. If everyone turned vegan tomorrow this would free up 75% of farmland, equivalent to the USA, China, Europe and Australia. It would also massively reduce carbon emissions by over 50%. Sadly for most people giving up meat would be considered worse than the alternative. | ![]() flatcoat1
04/12/2018 16:54 | apart from those existential anxieties i have been seriously considering the black mountains for the last few years. very beautiful and wild. lovely peeps but i think i would need a big gun ! | ![]() adejuk

04/12/2018 16:38 | so a major new product is launched, and we're 3p up on the day. everyone obviously waiting to be told more 'in due course'... | club sandwich
04/12/2018 16:37 | RE Climate change again..it's simple, many (most) will die, you only have to witness what will happen if the electricity goes off for a couple of days to see who. Europe, (north) will become a fortress and people will be ruthless. If they aren't all will succumb. It's not going to be pleasant so let's hope the effects can be mitigated somewhat. What if.....graphene could filter greenhouse gases out of the atmosphere? Sadly, probably not. | ![]() pshevlin

04/12/2018 16:26 | Re climate change, or at least the human contribution towards it, Asimov encapsulated the issue perfectly imo: “The psychohistoric trend of a planet-full of people contains a huge inertia. To be changed it must be met with something possessing a similar inertia. Either as many people must be concerned, or if the number of people be relatively small, enormous time for change must be allowed.” | ![]() tini5
04/12/2018 16:22 | The human species isn't capable of turning around the climate situation. We can't even make a convincing wig for the most powerful man in the world, who incidentally doesn't believe in climate change and will actively accelerate it.Sadly, I think we slipped past the tipping point over a decade ago, and apart from a few wind turbines and the failed recycling initiatives, nothing tangible has been done. | ![]() festario
