As much as some hate it it's good to see a retrace and churn.

It should have done something like this over the 150p mark but then mysteriously raced off to over 180, 190p is false it was there very briefly with very little exchanging hands at that point.

Some pop up showing they are geared in the 180's and 'reinvesting', Chart guys saying 180ish is the peak and should go to 160, very overbought on the indicators with a slightest interest in charts would have sold and in doing so probably forced those 'reinvesting' to close.

It would have been a whole lot more scary of it had gone to 220p without pausing for breath, the retrace would have been a lot more severe then.

At 150ish I thought hmmm not many will be able to sell there without it retracing but it defied gravity.

Yet in the last week or so anyone with any holding could probably have sold the lot for 150 or more.

So this cycles come into play they are necessary for a solid share price build and when complete the next time it's 180p it shouldn't (in theory) be in overbought territory. It went from 118 to over 180 without really pausing for breath.

The 150 to 180 plus move came on the back of no news at all.

All well at VRS HQ, NR not in yet but i imagine he's at his early morning Pilates class. As always there's an articulated Downtons lorry either being unloaded or being loaded outside with the same 2 blokes sat on chairs watching it - all very Trumanshowesque if you ask me.

And for those of you are still reeling from your last attempt at making poached eggs, try this technique for perfect ones.

Grab a large mug or coffee cup; tear quite a large piece of cling film, place over the top of the cup and prod down in the centre of the cling film making sure there's still plenty of cling film hanging over the sides, pour a small amount of oil (olive will do) into the bottom of your cling film sac and then crack your egg and pour in, carefully gather the clink film and whilst keeping your egg in the sac with ample space, twist the sac tightly upwards, Whilst you are doing this bring a saucepan of water to the boil and when it is boiling gently place your egg into the water (the water should be quite close to the top of the pan) with the twisted bit of the sac hanging over the side so stopping your egg from detaching from the side of the saucepan and floating off, boil for between 3 and 3.30 mins depending how you like your eggs. Take your eggs from the pan and open an tip onto your toast. Perfect.

I'll post Grandma Skylite's rice pudding recipe later; just trying it out today.

I'm going to have a little break from this BB, too much time being wasted with fruitless engagement with rainbow and sonny. I've had them on filter for a long time, which has saved me from having to read posts that have little substance.

TurboCharge, 21 Jun 2018, #17705: "rainbow, your posts have little substance, and frankly are a waste of my time. For that reason, I'm not prepared to invest any more of time, so I'm out. rainbow23 filtered"

As I see it, why bang your head against a wall (as some here seem to be doing)?

Incidentally, so what if the the share price is down to the 160 level? After all, that's what happens with any company share price,it can go down as well as up. It recently reached the 190 level, and I see no reason to suggest that it will not go back to those level and beyond in the short term.

I remain a sanguine and happy long-term holder.

Whilst I do value the “communityR21; here there are some posters who like the sound of their own voice far too much.

After writing a post I suggest a reality check before hitting the Post Reply button.

BTW, for those going to the AGM, could they report on (or ask if not mentioned) about the JV with the manufacturer of the magic machines? The obvious question to ask is: if a big order dropped (5/10/20/50/100T), how would VRS fulfil it? They obviously have a plan, but would be good to get an update. If Aecom (or anyone else) ever ordered 100s or 1000s of Ts (to build, say, a 6km bridge) VRS would need to scale production very significantly very quickly...

Many thanks in advance.

Sonny,

Here is the question you need to answer regarding the AGM:

Assuming there is a table set up (there should be)

I would like the names of all those at the table and the order left to right.

Obviously you need to know this now so that you can note it down.

Best wishes - Spike

Where's the "set" pub that's been mentioned? I'm looking at pubs in Gloucester and can't find it.
