For those that know a bit more - do we think the retweeting of Elon musk means anything? Ie results. Surely we wouldn't have enough profits to stimulate huge investment? My understanding is the value here is the IP, connections and management team, all of which point to a bright future. Will resukts really matter?

Some very large sells got easily absorbed at 8.20 onwards today. And don't forget, they would still accept big quantities from me too.Blue finish today again?

Got to share this one as it just happened to me.

Auto-correct by text.

meeting to be sorted time and date.

I explained one may not be able to attend due to a funeral which would mean the meeting is off.

reply

"Ok please let me Knell"

replaced by "know" next text.

Knell is the ringing of bells at a funeral.

I have replied saying if they really want to I'll see if it can be arranged.

Don't you just love auto-correct.

all the talk a few weeks ago was that Graphene would need to be produced close to where it was used due to its density. Could UK manufacturing sustain graphene valleys?

Chinese negotiating position must be slipping as VRS continues to demonstrate it has ever growing commercial ties across multiple global sectors.

Additionally the US relationships via the graphene advisory board and graphene industrial council just add weight to VRS' position.

Just a reminder: The 8th edition of Graphene Conference series, the largest European Event in Graphene and 2D Materials, will be organized in Dresden (Germany) from the 26th until the 29th of June 2018. Over the past 7 editions, the Graphene Conference strengthened its position as the main meeting point of the Graphene community. Prof. Andrea C. Ferrari invited.

Of course, in theory 'patient capital' could be used to fund graphene valleys in the uk, if demand could be found. Just an idea. Imo. Best ellis

If the Chinese are insisting on having a share of the IP it will never happen and nor should it. We are better to walk away at that point and let them stew. It would be like us selling out penicillin to the yanks because they could produce more of it at the time. Look how much that cost us in the end.

I think we should take a closer look at Shenzhen

Earlier this year, Shenzhen vowed to build 10 labs led by Nobel Prize-winning scientists to make breakthroughs in industries such as chemistry, medicine, photo-electricity, graphene, micro-nano, robotics and 5G telecommunication.

Shenzhen aims to be global technology innovation hub

Superg1, exactly and no doubt the Chinese government are also taking an interest. I feel both sides want a positive outcome so let it take the time it needs.

raf

I think it's great that they are talking to 5 or 6.

Each province would be gagging to be the graphene world lead, so to have that many chatting to VRS is fab imo.

It also puts pressure on the UK gov re keeping UK as the graphene lead.

I see Patient capital has been tweeted again.

The facts changed again yesterday. 5/6 chinese provinces interested. It's a possibility a grand deal with these provinces could land any time in single rns. If so, imagine the effect upon the share price. Aimo. Best ellis
