I think this will make you all salivate :

This seems to be a proposal in 2015 by a 'graphene' producer to set up a plant in a neighbour of Jinan and seems to be an official recommendation for the proposal.

I can only think that it was a plan that did not come to fruition due to the graphene being the usual graphite and was a massive flop. I am not sure why a publication like this would be on the official website if it was not successful.
Have a read and think what would have happened if that company had quality graphene.
Maybe the financials are not up to our expectations but it opens the doors to the scale of proposed production which would presumably have been based on serious market research.

If only there was a company with the necessary quality graphene and could get a contract signed and sealed !!.

Either way getting feedback about Amazing test results is certainly something for the company to be rightly proud of and investors curious as to what comes next...

I agree redstone. It seemed unrelated to anything, and wasn't elaborated upon. Neill was v excited by it though. As if it was a breakthrough of some description. Aimo. Best ellis.

Superg1, that remark was if I recall made in reference to one of Neill's meetings the day of the interview (he was in London on Monday so perhaps just a snippet from that). It may have been rubber as well but I took it as potentially unrelated to the tyre company as this was more of a general interview than the VoX Market update. The TMS website link did work for me though it took a few seconds to start (safari on phone).

Thanks Ellis

This is the bit that folk need to focus on

'amazing trial results.'

I take that was about the rubber. NR does not flower it up, when he says amazing it must be very good.

I did a quick resume from memory on 9754 superg. I think it was largely accurate. Perhaps someone else could confirm it either way. Best ellis

Nothing seems to work.

Perhaps the gremlins around VRS that don't want folk to hear the truth. The truth gets in the way of their fiction.

Sad lot really and one looks like a tramp.

Spot on superg. Many euro car makers playing catch up pdq because of the big bet on diesel that has gone wrong. German cities can ban diesel cars from city centres in recent court case. Poor air quality is a huge public health issue , and it's likely that policy makers will push for legislation. This includes particulate matter from tyre degredation. Maybe this tyre manufacturer is getting ahead of a possible legislative curve. Great posts re weight and wear argument too. Showing that all the big tyre producers are looking at this very seriously. No wonder neill says this latest collab the biggest potential yet ! Aimo. Dyor. Best ellis.

The Suzuki GSX-R1000 takes 2.35 seconds from 0 to 60mph.Most large sports motorcycles will do 0 to 60 in less than 3.5 seconds.A tyre market just waiting for some magic ingredient to be added...

Another example of the value chain re product pricing.

I read that Graphene containing tyres give a 1.5% improvement in fuel economy. No idea if it's correct but let's work with that figure.

If the average car does 30 mpg overall and tyres last 20,000 miles you'd use 666.6 gal of petrol per set of tyres. If you get 1.5% better fuel consumption you'd use 656.8 g petrol saving 9.8 gals fuel. That's £53.40. So breakeven is £13.35/tyre extra cost. The value chain now has to be split between VRS/Tyre maker/Tyre buyer.
The end customer won't pay £13 extra as it's no benefit. Each participant would look for their percentage gain.
That's just for illustration Nanene provides other benefits so the value chain will consist of a number of parts. The task is to capture as much of the chain that you can. It's never a case of let's just drop the price of a new product.

I see someone said automotive.

Think electric cars for a start, Cambridge day had an obvious one mentioned but not many from ADVFN were there.

On the tyres bit did folk read about electric cars. Due to their torque and battery weight they will get through tyres quicker.

Typical times for F1 0-60 are 2.1-2.7 seconds.

A Tesla model S quickest version does it in 2.5 seconds.

There won't be another Tr1 as the notification levels have gone, IE below 3%. No worries though the city contacts will soon know how many they have left or gone early in May.

The share holder register is available to view re current holdings, it just costs money. Fund a typically pay for a set amount EG 10 AIMs depending on what they are in and get monthly updates.

FF my friend, are these your last attempts to pump the price up somehow for your exit. Saw your multiple posts on several boards trying to ramp it up a bit with reasons which are ..... :-)

You can sense it and know it now. Don't you? :)

I wish very best for you honestly.

Good luck.
