Thanks for that link to the slides corbs, I'll put it in the header.

Good meeting, I was impressed with the new chairman. He looks (and sounds) a bit like a younger and thinner version of the late Richard Griffiths (the actor).

<....

David Ebsworth<........ Richard Griffiths

See what I mean?

Needless to say, I'll write up a few notes (probably tomorrow morning) and post them here.

My average in is also mostly in the 2s and did a further top up at 3.5p. Alot of luck as I had made money on Vernalis and was looking for another pharma play. Sold Vernalis too soon at a good profit but don't want to repeat that mistake.

been buying from 2p upwards meijiman, bought on news this week at 5.3p and now holding quite a few million, will look to see if it breaks resistance levels at 6p, if it does I will top up further.
Difficult to work out exit strategy with VRP, usually work on 50% then get out but this one could be something pretty special so I'm going nowhere soon . Good thread here, everyone well informed, no rampers which makes a pleasant change, just good input.

RU still a buyer BIKKIT? If the trial results go to plan then this must get on the radar of some US pharma. I can see the headline now .....'Pfizer offers to buy Verona for 100p per share'. Dream on!!

Quite surprised there is so little interest both here and over the pond, no doubt waiting for trial results next year, just glad I got in early

Wish I could contribute to the debate. Anyway its encouraging that this RNS is on the same day as the AGM. Seems like one should keep buying the shares.

Here's the clintrials.gov link to the asthma study outline protocol

Will read on the train this morning (if I get a seat!)

Worth noting that PDe4s (Roflumilast) were never approved for asthma, I believe this was due to GI side effect profile (which was much worse in Asthmatics compared to COPDers for some reason).

Putting 554 in a study up against gold standard bronchodilator Salbutamol suggests great confidence to me. Recent large multiple Director purchases suggests this too!

Also love the use of the term 'potent bronchodiatation'

Ok. The AGM should be interesting. Sometimes Directors buys/sells can be of no consequence, but in this case I think the buys do correlate with a high level of confidence as to the prospects here...........
