I have just telephoned the company and I have been assured that the results will be announced between today and the middle of next week. No wind up only reporting what I have been told. Still an interesting play -possible bid for the company and perhaps some good results?? DYOR etc

To the poster who said the company would be reporting before Jan month end - was that a wind up?

The results will probably give us an idea as to whether VET have been negotiating from a position of strength or not.

Trouble is delayed results usually only mean one thing

You are correct-sold CAB because I was down on VET & wanted to bank profits (for once)!!! Sods law I suppose. Should have topped up with VET.

Hi Tony - yeah Im still in VET - didnt see the point in bailing out Friday before results. U R right tho...very strange!

What a rollercoaster...

Friday - VET bomb then CAB jump 30%

Tuesday - CAB relist down 30% but VETs jump! who said shares were dull?

I still hold CABs but I bought on a 6 to 12 month view - I think the refinancing was positive and has just flushed out the weak holders such as you kind sir! :-P

NAV_Mike - Mine was one of the 10K sells at 35p. Not sure which one as it went through as a manual limit sell. I suspect much of the selling could be for the same reason as mine. Suddenly, there are some price crashes EGS, FIB etc... and a few may be looking to free up cash and get in for a possible bounce.

Alsfar - if its not a rude question how many did u get rid of? Just noticed from the broker codes that one person may have dumped a few fair in blocks.

Go out for 2 hours and find a near 20% drop when I get back - b*lls! :-(

Hope this persistent selling isnt a case of people being 'in the know'

I got out today at 35p. No reason related to VET, just decided to take profits and re-invest elsewhere. The elsewhere being FIB, which crashed today on the double wammy of Energis yesterday and a profits warning. May or may not have been a wise move, but a profit taken is better than one in the bush (or something like that). Good luck to those still holding.

Interesting to see the sell trades before the RNS-should have known something was up!! Never mind.

Also hold CAB-looks like its about to tick up again. Pleaeeeeeeeease!!

Not really moaning - still holding CAB from 2.25 so I guess Ive had my share of good luck recently. Just a bit miffed that in the back of my mind I know some people knew summat in advance (present company excepted Alsfar!)

Anyway if we wanted safety we wouldnt be buying penny shares eh? C'est la vie

Im trying to console myself with the knowledge that i didnt buy this share @23.5 for the bid (that news came three days later) but for the intrinsic value
of the business.

Fortunate enough to have bailed out yesterday purely for other funding. Where did you hears the news about the talks? I was gonna get back in although not sure now. It amazes me how this sort of thing keeps happening!

whats happened, i know talks have suspened, but a fall like this, can't believe it, maybe the news at the end month is not to good, to bail out now is'nt worth it, any comments.
