06/12/2001 10:56 | Interesting 'mjhalpin'. Not sure I understand that. Sounds like a rollover but clearly you don't mean that. Could you please explain the scenario. How does such a deal come about? Why does someone do that? TIA | alsfar
06/12/2001 10:51 | re: alsfar and y Cymro 100000 trades are cash and new - means that upon settlement date purchaser has sold and bought them back again at a slight premium. This can only be done once per share issue in any calender year. Hope this helps. Agreed looks promising. Pattern following last week. Only 3 MM's offering 25p now ! | mjhalpin
06/12/2001 10:51 | How's the chart looking? | chadders
06/12/2001 10:46 | Offer just ticked uo to 25p. Looking very compelling now. The 2 100Ks are at prices that have the look of a rollover. However, they are 3 minutes apart and one has 'C' which refers to a secret bargain condition (perhaps something like 'you agree to take my spinster sister on a date'). So to conclude, as always, I really haven't a clue! :o)) | alsfar
06/12/2001 10:40 | Could someone please explain the 2x 100000 trades to me? | y cymro
06/12/2001 10:33 | Another 100000 cash and new ! Confidence remains but patience required. Should imagine it won't be too long before stocks get short. | mjhalpin
06/12/2001 10:20 | Im convinced - NAV should provide a reasonable floor with masses of potential upside if they get it right Bought today @23.9 | highstreetmike
06/12/2001 09:35 | wins lead the price movement up - 22-27 spread still being offered at 24 - will the rise be the same as last thursday and friday. hmmm. Patterns are forming. | mjhalpin

06/12/2001 00:02 | Interesting trade just been put through. Someone cash and new 100000 shares. Think he may have bought on a t-trade but he still must have some confidence | mjhalpin

05/12/2001 21:47 | Hmmm! strangely quiet this afternoon when other Tech stocks headed North at speed. From the chart, the signs look promising, It's above it's 40 day MA, Lookin good on MACD & momentum. A bit of volume should push it North if we have another good Tech day tomorrow. The Nasdaq had another stonking day today so our Tech Stocks should be in for a good one tomorrow. | screamer
05/12/2001 10:47 | Interesting to see buys again today. | richoneday
04/12/2001 09:03 | We have not yet seen the bottom, more fall-out of internet is still predicted and the smart guys will be looking to acquire those companies with customer base and revenue as cheaply as possible. VET is a perfect target IMO but don't hang your hat on Affinity. | cashisking
04/12/2001 00:40 | I don't think it is particulary helpful to ramp this company on the basis of a takeover bid. Certainly the cash makes the company attractive, but if the costs are under control, then a recovery play is even more attractive. The current shareholder list shows that the company is controlled by 1 person. If that person believes in profitability within current funds, then no takeover is likely to be welcome. Cash burn is supposed to dissappear this quarter. That could lead to some very interesting figures come the new year. Major Shareholders (30 Nov 01): 25.11m 25p Ords - Bank of New York (Noms) Ltd 9.41%, J K Drummond 53.06%, Other Dirs 0.14%. | alsfar
04/12/2001 00:24 | kitkat, What bid? | chadders

03/12/2001 14:06 | Alsfar - agree this one is a very attractive company. Ta for all the info in your post I was merely asking about the likelyhood of a bid soon | kitkat |
