14/9/2018 13:07 | Rabbits and headlights, attrader, perhaps - thanks for the compliment. Given that Coca owns Schw I reckon Pepsi must be interested in FEVR because of potential in the US, not because it wants a bigger non-US footprint. Makes much more sense than the Unilever rumour in January. The three puppies I sold ARC/ZOO/IDEA have all turned into bloody show dogs, multibagger. Teach me to take profits! apad | ![]() apad

14/9/2018 11:38 | FTalpha... prodding the FEVR speculation again. I think I'd quite like it to be sold as it would stop me fretting about its 35% portfolio weighting. Pretty normal pattern for RSW, red? apad😎 | ![]() apad
14/9/2018 11:23 | Excellent post from the ZOO board. Bakunin14 Sep '18 - 10:20 - 6353 of 6354 0 1 0 hxxps://www.broadcas Dubing is going to take off far quicker than subtitling did because of the way it is done. Groupthink quality control for the translation element will remove most of the problems associated with individual freelancers doing the translation work. "A recent example of it in action saw me working with two in-demand star talents from Latin America. One was in Mexico, the other on tour in Argentina, and I was in LA. Using ZOO’s cloud dubbing platform, we completed a four-hour recording session seamlessly – and securely – all connected through the cloud. With the built-in video conferencing, I could direct the artists in real-time and capture all of the audio we needed in just one session. We could see the actors delivering their lines live, then instantly playback the take to check for sync and quality issues or give more direction. By making this whole process so simple, we’re able to direct the best performances out of our talent. We even had the customer, a leading OTT service, drop in for part of the session and witness their dub as it happened." "Casting and finding the right person for the job is super-important to me too, and [cloud dubbing] has made my life so much easier. I can listen online to a bank of different talents and know instantly the right voice for the right character" I'm beginning to think that ZOO's dubbing platform is much better than I had thought. It sounds like a real killer of a product. And the AI stuff is yet to be added to it. | ![]() apad
14/9/2018 11:02 | janeann Very true. White knuckle time. Keeping the faith with Rsw. I hope to get the dividend plus a modest profit, eventually, on the trading stock. AGM 18 October, so there could be a wait. red | ![]() redartbmud

13/9/2018 23:38 | attrader Good luck. It will be a very interesting exercise. You are correct. As I pointed out, from my superficial look, the company is far more complex than appears at first glance. It is good that you have tried to find similar businesses, as comparators. Remember that companies domiciled in other countries will be subject to a different cost profile, and that mix of business may be significantly different. red | ![]() redartbmud
