Thanks red as ever for eagle eyes on accounts. Looking at 2017 annual report, their gross billing was 232m and revenue of 116m. So I would assume they have removed the effects of margin plus transactions.. or may be not.. then gross profit is 28m which indicates they still have some elements of gross billings .. but then the admin expenses have risen up from last year.. i am wondering if their admin cost will benefit from scale .. getting a headache !

Of course you did jane, easy to say after the event. Funny that most will not post their actions until after the event!
Fantasy that's why 😉

completely unscathed - had gradually reduced as it went skyward. Might reduce my comparison score mind. No idea hydrus how to value it; long term if it stays ahead of the game I think it has great potential. I don't know if the drop was to take out some stop losses - I never use them. Had to place an order to get any at all around the 20 quid mark. Hope it does it again.

Ooh er Missus.
Close your eyes and think of England at times like this.
No news on the wires.

janeann - Hope you come through relatively unscathed.

Jane - is that because you think it is cheap at that level? Or rather you think punters will chase it up again and therefore it is a trade?

More shorters entering the fray at KIE and the price keeps rising.
MGNS/GFRD Similar have reported excellent results
maybe they think kIE is another Carillion but then you have likes of Standard Life and Woodford taking very large stakes. Unless board have been hiding something I'd back the latter. Divi at 8% a warning or massive bargain? Interesting. I may take some before next results

I've got small holdings in SDX & AMER, Big7, for fun.

Malcy keeps banging on about their merit and wondering why their share prices are not higher.

I've also got a holding in SOU with a net cost of -483p a share.

APAD AMER not as risky as most small oil cos
Cash rich, 100% operators in most
Low costs of prod and transportation
Owner of pipeline which may get used by other cos later
Making good profits at this poo
Exploration prog fully funded and tgting dozen or so wells in next 12mths, any which cld add substantially to reserves
Rex forced seller nearly done (spat with board etc more money and bravado than sense)
Takeover tgt!?
The positives go on

Now I understand XPD bit better, as it is a services company, I am but I surprised at very low net margins. Why do they have such a low margin when gross margins are okayish?

Big7, I was reading about Conifex, a Canadian listed timber producer, forward PE of less than 4, but it is a commodity business and needs tonnes of opex on sawmills.. btw, wood prices are going through the roof with sustained recovery in us house building.

AMER results are good which places an extraordinary value on share with a p/e of just 8
With a busy and fully funded drilling campaign this yr, the potential is just - wow.
