25/9/2017 13:07 | Well done modform. That is some return & a great call. Also considered VLE. Have to check them out more. No dividend unlike GAW, unless mistaken. | lauders
25/9/2017 13:06 | IMMUPHARMA (IMM) Potential blockbuster Lupuzor Phase III results due Q1 2018. Only other similar drug Benlysta was bought out from HGSi by GSK in 2012 for $3.6 billion for 50% stake valuing Benlysta around $7 billion (and IMM's Lupuzor appears to be safer and more efficaceous than Benlysta). $7 billion buyout of IMM gives £39.70 share price against current 51p, or 77+ bagger !!! Potential blockbuster Lupuzor has 'Fast Track' and 'SPA' status from US FDA, so could be market launched in 2018. Tim McCarthy (IMM's Chairman) 14/3/2017: "There's going to be a fantastic return on investment for anybody who invests in ImmuPharma...This (Lupuzor) is going to be a multi-billion dollar drug, its as simple as that...This will absolutely be a multi-billion dollar drug." 4 min 40 sec. | top tips

25/9/2017 13:04 | I think VLE is still the cheapest stock to own even after such a staller rise with 600p of cash and the rest of the businesses on per of 4. GAW is cheap lauder, on per of 13 with such a strong IP and growth. It gives me 25% yield based on my original investment of 625pish last year. | modform
25/9/2017 12:56 | APAD - shorts will need to buy to close the short. the MIPS sale is expected in Oct next month, but to paraphrase, a month is a long time in the stock mkt (such is the pervasive short term-ism of our times) the Scheme also requires 75% approval - does not come effective til mid Nov, once again, opportunity cost beckons for holders? also given 182 cash offer, quite normal to see a 5% discount on the shares til much nearer closing date - so circa 172-173p , notwithstanding one w so many conditions attached hence, shorts just bidding time - perhaps need more positive regulatory noise on Stateside MIPS bid/approval edit - I see existing shorts are 5.96% on short tracker as of close of play last week. | sherylchan
25/9/2017 12:48 | GAW blimey! Another one I should have bought and held when considered a while back! Missed out on so many dividends/special dividends too :-( | lauders
25/9/2017 12:33 | I might be being naive sheryl and red, but don't the shorts want and need to sell? So, won't this depress the price artificially? Add this to the "stale bulls" (love the terminology) and you have got an odd market ahead of a near certain takeover? AGM soon. "Completion of the sale is expected to occur in October 2017." Yup Lauders, the loss of a debate with 'bombs with wings' is no loss at all. apad | apad
25/9/2017 12:27 | good call on ZOO Hydrus, one of the few small companies that I didn't follow technical when it broke out. I have top sliced or sold most of my uk small caps due to liquidity, and did my first investment in LLOY a few weeks ago at a hint of interest rate rise. I had held C in the US for a while, so LLOY may hopefully be a good entry point. IMG, never liked the CEO but it's sad to see it go. The froth is finally coming off IQE ... | modform
25/9/2017 12:23 | What a beautiful post Sheryl | hydrus
25/9/2017 11:53 | Lauders, best perhaps to ignore ad hominem attacks, in an anonymous bulletin board, vituperation of such ilk is perplexing | sherylchan
25/9/2017 11:50 | IMG - I will be surprised if it does not go thru, as the Chinese have pretty much agreed to keep to the status quo in the near to medium term (prob just wants the transfer of technology) - otherwise, chance of going bust? I reckon many stale bulls are just selling out and playing safe just in case the read across of the Canyon Bridge - Lattice Semiconductor comes forth, at worse delays given cash bid conditional on US MIPS deal approval But certainly a blast from the past, held it as Videologic and the golden years of IMG. A sorry end indeed | sherylchan
25/9/2017 11:28 | Don't think so Apad. Decided not to contribute on the BB anymore now since I was incorrectly accused of "ramping" LOL. Never mind. Well done on ZOO Hydrus. BVXP getting stronger ahead of results. Might take an initial stake in PTSG if everything is going to plan. Can't see why that will not be given their newsflow. If there is a sell on the news reaction I hope to take advantage. | lauders
25/9/2017 10:45 | Had a gander at the video, dacian. Thanks. I liked the massed moving averages patterns I suppose that the bubbles were extremely unusual events, so a lot of metrics will show stark changes. Also it is a measure of mass behaviour. The CAPE valuation rainbow (www.ukvalueinvestor I can't find an on-line updated version though. apad | apad
25/9/2017 10:20 | Whoops, Mr Market thinks that I am wrong. red | redartbmud
25/9/2017 09:21 | ZOO breaking out again - guess it's dawning on people that a company growing at 60% organically with revenue likely to be higher than the Mcap of the company this year is an opportunity....... | hydrus
25/9/2017 09:00 | My heart bleeds for them :-) red | redartbmud
25/9/2017 08:57 | Don't they just! 6% shorted and a big increase this year. Poor dears :-) apad | apad
25/9/2017 08:49 | APAD That is the reason why I bought. I must not gamble, I must not gamble, I must not gamble, I must not gamble. Shorters now have a conundrum. red | redartbmud
25/9/2017 08:42 | MMC referral very unlikely I would have thought, red. PTSG holding its breath before tomorrow's results. There has been a large flock of recent orders, but they won't be feeding into the accounts yet. apad | apad
25/9/2017 08:37 | Brown trousers, flak jacket, tin hat and bicycle clips on. Only doubt is possible referral MMC. red | redartbmud

25/9/2017 08:27 | Well, I have officially lost my marbles. I bought a few k's Img @ £1.71375. I doubt that the deal will not go through, so nearly 5% on the table. Walk on the wild side. Hey ho.. red | redartbmud
25/9/2017 08:18 | 8am RNS by NMC - nice one too ! | panic investor |
