Anyway there is no such thing as a National Health Service, so how could they prove anything....sad but true!

NTV,

I take your point, but to be honest I think that Stefan's and my wording hinted at the potential rather than definite.

you shouldn't be in possesion of potential inside imfo
if a big contract is announced you will be in the smelly stuff
but then thats up to you

Sadly, I think you're right about our low profile - not sure what my averaged down share price is, but probably just above 10p. I originally got in via the dreaded City Equities at top dollar and have added more from around 20p down.

No doubt you're right on the matter of top-up, although the progress of one of my others BEM over the last few days shows just how things can swing.

Off topic, have you looked at Greatland Gold - recent below expectations news has caused a significant (OTT IMHO) drop recently. If not familiar, you might like to review their RNSs from recent months and could be worth a flutter. One of those shares that could easily three to five bag from current position.

I am wary of averaging down, again, on VTO, but that sort of progress would be a trigger to buy more.
I think VTO are so far under the radar at the moment, written off, poor results, poor product take up, share price slide from 80p to 6p, that I should be able to nip in early on the back of good news to buy some without paying too much of a premium.
If the company does have a future, let's say it is still trading in 18 months then the share price will have a long way to go from here.

He better get busy down at the patent office to register your excellent idea!

Mux,

One important thing from the SH conversation that I forgot to say - he talked of being close to sealing a deal linked with the NHS. If that comes off, the RNS should grab significant attention.

I think that because of his background in pest control he has been understandably focussed - I put a few ideas to him, to which he seemed receptive.

I also suggested that he should formally approach bodies such as the BMA and Asthma/allergy representatives in order to implant the fact that the Cryonite product is available and could offer significant respite to serious sufferers

It's my understanding that the cryonite equipment is quite pricey, although I'm unsure whether that's down to scale or practicalities. Even so, I can imagine the idea of say a cryonite discharge system in critical locations where the assetts are sufficiently valuable or sensitive. One rather neat application, which might even be worth to in order to capture publicity could be say F1 - imagine the marshall steaming towards the flaming car with his clearly marked Cryonite product, watched by millions of admiring viewers! Zap, problem solved - none of that pesky blow away CO2 or powder.

Try a brainstorming session - you'll be amazed how many applications you can think of; some of which may be impracticable, but many which could be good.

The affect of the nozzle spray will remove heat and stifle oxygen.

An excellent combination.

A bit like foam but much better in that as the co2 is returned to a gas by removing the heat it still has the affect of restricting o2.
What did Stefan make of it?

It's unlikely that the system could be applied for general usage, but wherever there are high value or critical assetts I feel that there could be a real market out there especially given the system's ability to leave no trace.

e.g. server rooms, sub-stations, aircraft, ships etc...

That's actually rather stunning.

before asking I did have a quick think myself and I kept coming back to freezing pests, very frustrating!

Mux,

I'd rather not reveal details right now, but it was amongst a number of concepts totally removed from pest control that came to me during a brainstorming session yesterday.

It concerns the cryonite system - have a think for yourself. Try erasing the idea of pest control and consider the key characteristics of the system product and how they could be used to deal with one of society's main hazards!

I am waiting for signs of recovery before averaging down, even at these levels.

Thanks for the update spaceparallax.

What's the big idea anyway?

Today's trading suggests that a few small PIs' are less enthusiastic than me, with the sells leading to a significant markdown on the day. I managed to pick up 20K@5.35 at close to cause the share price partial bounce.

Spoke at length with SH today - he seemed pretty positive about the current business situation and was particularly keen to emphasise the significant cost-cutting that has taken place in the current FY so far, which will really begin to yield benefits over the coming year. He feels that the termination of the Linde arrangement should work out for the best and that the equipment buyback from Linde was on good terms. On the matter of cashflow, he was able to provide reassurance he foresees no problems in the near future providing that the Company aren't assailed by significant unexpected additional financial pressures. He feels that we have passed the most difficult times and was optimistic about the future.

I offered a number of ideas concerning the potential wider marketing of the Cryonite system in particular - one potential field of application could be absolutely enormous and if possible could help make VTO a hundred bagger IMHO.

At last we've got a little more info!

Results pretty much in-line with my expectations.
I suppose that one's stance very much depends on the value assigned to the positive spiel on outlook and whether there will be sufficient upturn to outstrip cashburn. One noticeable difference on the balance sheet is the sizeable increase in inventory; presumably this should help with the cashburn.

I remain convinced of the potential of the Company and really do believe that if it can sort out the sales and cashflow then it could quite easily be at 100p in a relatively short time.

It appears that we need to secure a major cryonite business deal from the significant interest shown - the Silv and Sika elements seem to be doing well already.

Like so many fledglings, VTO offer significant risks but tremendous potential returns. On the basis that much of my investment here is effectively written off here, I've little to lose by holding on and perhaps even averaging down by doubling.

Interested to see what the objective views of others are?

raise some cash or going bust
