11/7/2007 14:27 | Italy was specificlly mentioned as that was where the Cryonite gun test took place a while ago ..... look what it did to the toer at Pisa.... | don muang
11/7/2007 14:22 | Mad, Haven't you heard, Asia has been renamed Italy? Wake up and keep up with World events - otherwise, you're for the Cryonite gun! | spaceparallax
11/7/2007 14:03 | >spaceparallax - 11 Jul'07 - 10:03 - 311 of 311 >we're headed for a substantial increase in Cryonite sales Hope so. This mornings RNS doesn't seem to have done much for share price with three transactions (sells) going through. Perhaps Dr. Who can buy a Cryonite to aid his battle against the Cybermen.... | don muang
11/7/2007 10:03 | Nice one Don - could the cryonite units become the World's hard currency now that the Dollar is floundering? Perhaps we could get the Governor of California to use one in his next Terminator movie? Seriously though, it's good to see more progress, albeit from a surprise destination. it looks as if we're headed for a substantial increase in Cryonite sales for the whole FY. It would be nice to get some update on the other two arms of the Company. | spaceparallax
11/7/2007 09:17 | Wasn't going to mention Nigeria and kidnapping in the same post - but as it's just been done, perhaps we'll soon see the headline "Western oil worker released in exchange for Cryonite machine"... | don muang
11/7/2007 09:07 | LOL! What with all the kidnappings, I would imagine that hotels in Nigeria are running at low capacity, giving the bed bugs a chance to settle down and build a family. | mad3it
11/7/2007 08:21 | today Nigeria .... tomorrow the world.... "The deployment of Cryonite units in Nigeria represents the Company's first trading on the African continent, following the successful launch of the technology in the Europe, North America, Italy and Australia." Wonder what the author of the RNS has got against Italy .... as he / she seems to consider Italy isn't in Europe... | don muang
03/7/2007 16:12 | Thanks Jon, that was my belief - I do remember you expressing concerns (many months back)over one individual, with whom you'd had a bad experience. | spaceparallax
03/7/2007 14:45 | sp - nor do I (except for one Non-Exec where I've posted before)... the top management here are the bosses of the Cryonite company, not the original cash shell, and (I imagine) have a long-term strategy for building a global pest-control business. They have no track record of going from one venture to another, given that the set-up is less than a year old. I suppose I ought to buy some - but I'm buying nothing at the moment. | jonwig
03/7/2007 14:08 | I don't really understand how you've developed that perception - could you elaborate please? | spaceparallax
02/7/2007 18:21 | I think the problem is lack of faith in the management, who are perceived as going from one venture to another without strong evidence of success. AIM is littered with small companies with high potential and low achievement, and this maybe one of them. I have a small amount invested here, but recognise that it will either soar exponentially or fade into oblivion. Don't really see much middle ground. | mad3it
02/7/2007 18:10 | If only we could have a bit of good news or a +ve TS. | spaceparallax
29/6/2007 15:45 | All being well, my 5K order @25p will be filled soon - surely now I've said that, it'll bounce back. | spaceparallax
29/6/2007 14:36 | Jon, On the matter of the Market, it's difficult to know what to think. I saw Bill 'doom merchant' Adlard talking of a property market crisis just yesterday - presumably this was based upon a little jitteriness in the Building sector recently. Were that the case, then we would face a situation where money that is not being used for property would need to fimd a home; my understanding was that the Market was traditionally that home. Who knows? Overall, I'm looking for the medium to long term and am endeavouring to spread our assets around - so in theory, so long as we don't face a totally unexpected cash-call, the investments can just sit there bobbing up and down, but hopefully eventually coming good.. OT, I saw you'd recently posted on the FDT board - until further progress reports, that remains a very uncertain share IMHO. | spaceparallax
29/6/2007 13:39 | sp - thanks. I'm in no hurry, as the overall market does worry me rather! My enquiry about sales of the Cryonite equipment is also, of course, about support - training operatives, charge for CO2 refills, etc. all of which adds to turnover. The cash pot would have a run-rate of 44 months at expense levels given in the accounts. Since there's nearly half a year of Cryonite, we could maybe call that 20 months: not bad at all. (Run-rate: Cash รท Monthly admin exps ... a measure of how long they can last on zero sales.) | jonwig
29/6/2007 13:26 | Hi Jon, I am quite heavily in here because in many ways it's not like a normal fledgling company i.e. the funds raised under the Venteco umbrella have been IMHO very shrewdly used to purchase young but well established complementary companies. To my reckoning that has removed a significant risk i.e. that of early cashburn whilst someones good ideas become developed and taken to market. Their recent 2006 finals also stated that they had a healthy £2M cash pot, which presumably is also being used carefully. Whilst I eagerly await a TS, we know already that CTI is doing okay and that when the two other firms were acquired, they already had an established turnover, which hopefully is being developed to take in a wider audience than just Scandinavia. As you say, now if ever is a good buying oppo with potential 2 bag in quick time. Let me know your thoughts, I generally like what you've had to say elsewhere. | spaceparallax
29/6/2007 11:27 | I'm just in the process of looking more closely at this, so forgive me for being quite happy at the price drop. I read that VTO sold 152 Cryonite units in 2006. With T/O of £244,000 that's £1,600 each. Since they will also be charging for support, maybe £1,200 is a better guess. And they have an order for 150 more. Can anyone put me right here? | jonwig
28/6/2007 16:29 | ... pity share consolidation didn't do much to the quoted spread ..... | don muang
28/6/2007 15:36 | There have been a few small sells recently - I suppose it's just typical of the illiquidity of such nanocaps. Personally, I'm aware of no fundamental problems and will be topping up again soon. | spaceparallax
28/6/2007 14:58 | Whats that drop all about????......on a 6000 odd sell????? | tailgunner2
15/6/2007 11:06 | Barry Gibb's modest share purchase is not going to cause a New York Mining Disaster. Obviously his Love of the Company is not Very Deep yet, which in many ways is a tragedy - don't worry, I'm only Jive Talkin'. | spaceparallax
14/6/2007 16:30 | Thats a strange one..........accordi | tailgunner2 |
