Amazed to see a 5K Sell @20p - it's lack of news that's allowed the share price to drift substantially. With today's good news and sunny outlook, now would seem a crazy time to Sell unless absolutely desperate.

A lot of very pleasing points in the results. I am surprised that they acheived positive cashflow from operations and comments like:

*Global market awareness of the Group's core Cryonite technology is increasing significantly

*Two important acquisitions were completed early in the first half and
made a positive contribution to earnings during the period. Further
opportunities within the Group for cost elimination and increased
efficiencies are anticipated

*Cryonite's launch in the US will be kick-started at the NPMA pest control
expo this October

Have a look around www.pestworld.org see the poll on the left hand side...I wonder what has made the NPMA do that!!!

Yeep, at least now it's in profit and revenues growing. And its presently made it to #2 on advfn gainers board.

SP - yes, a decent outcome.
The turnover is based on new acquisitions, and the negative goodwill credit is a distraction, though.
Cash flow statement a bit more realistic.

I'm not buying any shares for the moment, though.

Well, the results make encouraging reading to me. Admittedly, the net profit has been boosted significantly by the goodwill item, although even without that we are in operating profit. The cash reserves are good and should serve us well providing that they are used prudently for acquisitions.

I don't really understand the 'administrative expenses' item, which seems rather high and substantially affected by option awards (albeit at a challenging prices rather than giveaways granted by some companies).

Overall, I see much to be pleased about and feel that we must be due a significant share price recovery. The big question is do I increase my holding at this bargain share price or do I just tight?

Mux,

I know what you mean. Funnily enough, I still feel that the business has tremendous potential, given the right marketing and the ubiquitous lucky breaks.

I bloody hope so...we really need a decent set of results showing good progress on a couple of fronts.

I did think about buying more at these levels, but I already did that at 35p :-(

Ye gods - at last we can look forward to some feedback with next Monday's interims. All being well we'll find out about some progress with the other two acquisitions, which should have been earnings enhancing from day 1.

Thanks Jon. It all depends whether Stefan is on the ball - I have previously emailed him with articles on bedbugs (from medical journals) but haven't had a response.

Don,

As I've unsuccessfully tried to email our illustrious CEO, praying might offer the solution. Communication is certainly not one of the Company's strengths - is that a Scandinavian trait?

Not wishing to appear too negative as I still hold a few .... but perhaps a prayer might be more appropriate?
Either that or get Dr.Who to use a Venteco product on prime time TV to exterminate a hostile alien life form....

NTV,

You're not wrong, but realistically why should it head much lower apart from disaffected holders selling up and realising their losses? There's no overt reason to be concerned.

Cheers Space and Mux

Agree with what you say. Keep and wait or average down and wait are my 2 choices. No point in selling up now.

Andy,

There's no overt reason for the share price drift (except for Sells by Per Ragnar Thanner). I'd agree with Mux that you're best off waiting until the next update.

It's worth bearing in mind that VTO operate with a very modest overhead and are reasonably cash rich - thus they are under significantly reduced time pressures than many other fledglings (this is a very positive by-product of the cash-shell model buying out established products).

All that said, I can sympathise with your frustrations at the drifting share price significantly after the consolidation and with a distinct lack of significant news. I've been subject to the consolidation elsewhere and have seen similar things happen initially, although this has subsequently corrected.

As Mux said now might be a good time to average down - I bought 80% of my holding at 25p (or equiv) and average out around 28p.

If I was you I would hang around for a trading update and make your decision then.

Also consider an average down (I did).

The share price is disappointing, but there is no reason for it to go up....yet

Anybody know whats going on with this company?

6 months back looked promising with their units being sold but since the consoldiation there has been nothing. Thought the consoldiation would be the kick start for this company - instead share price is heading due south.

been in since 3p and now thinking we will see share price back to what I bought in

CE certainly seem to do well out of the deal.
