07/11/2016 17:12 | Is it not 30% of the combined businesses when the four transactions are completed. Which like you say should be worth a few million. | battlebus2
07/11/2016 15:42 | From now on, the markets will clearly see VENN's high and increasing profitability, which prior to the Innovenn sale was obscured by the expenses incurred in setting up and investing in Innovenn. This is reflected in the new analyst forecasts of 2.35p EPS this year 2.63p EPS next year. It's easy to extrapolate a 30p-35p share price based on this alone. On top of this, VENN will now have a 70% stake in Innovenn/Integumen. This could be worth a few £m in itself, especially post-IPO. VENN's current m/cap is still only £14m. | rivaldo
06/11/2016 07:40 | I agree about the low multiple Adam but surely one would expect the share price to reduce once Innovenn is sold off and shares distributed to VENN holders? So unless I've misunderstood the position, VENN shareholders are unlikely to be any better off if the sale proceeds. If shares from the sale of Innoven were a windfall, in other words if the share price was expected to be broadly the same post the sale, surely we would have seen more buying? Still waiting to get back in at some point. | investordave
04/11/2016 22:40 | Totally agree Adam. | battlebus2
04/11/2016 21:46 | Look back at my notes from the investor presentation a few weeks ago - based on FY earnings, this is trading at a stupidly low multiple, and shares in the spin-off is further upside. This won't make 500% in a year but could certainly double | adamb1978
04/11/2016 12:09 | That's not a bad idea Yump. Will give that some thought. | investordave
04/11/2016 07:37 | Investor Dave You need to apply reverse psychology and post that you've sold when you haven't, which will double-bluff the share ;-) I have the opposite problem with buying... | yump
03/11/2016 18:42 | Perhaps another director buy as the last one barely influenced the market!. However, nice to see share price moving back northwards & not hitting my 20p sell target. | cocker
03/11/2016 13:36 | I wish I had the money to buy 200,000 but, no, it's not me :). Looking to buy back in soon though as the share price appears to have bottomed out at last. Once I sell a share it almost always goes up. | investordave
03/11/2016 13:31 | is that Dave buying back in | harry vederci
02/11/2016 16:12 | I suggest anyone that is unnerved by shares that don't seem to be going anywhere, has a look at Gear4music since they floated. That's what happens when businesses break into growth. One minute they're 'unknown', next minute someone notices a profit figure. Its the nature of investing in companies pre-maiden profit. Some never make it of course, because the underlying business and its model are flawed and/or unproven. So it depends as always on how good a feel you have for the business and its apparent figures, overheads etc. etc. | yump
02/11/2016 14:49 | not revenue material but shows Venn are out there doing the business | harry vederci
02/11/2016 10:14 | It would appear that there are still no buyers around. | investordave
02/11/2016 07:29 | Good to see a sizeable maiden share purchase from the new Chairman. Hardly surprising given VENN are on a single-digit P/E now. For the record, the latest forecasts from Hybridan are: this year : 2.35p EPS next year : 2.63p EPS | rivaldo
02/11/2016 07:23 | It might help market sentiment a little bit I suppose. | investordave
02/11/2016 07:18 | New chairman invests £50K to buy 230,000 shares under 22p. Every little helps, I guess! | masurenguy
01/11/2016 13:04 | Perhaps I should have said showing signs of whimpering back to life. | investordave
31/10/2016 17:48 | what kind of beast would Venn be? atm it feels a bit like a dog that's forever chasing its own tail. | shrout
31/10/2016 15:22 | Is it my imagination or is the beast that is Venn Life stirring again? It usually happens once I've sold up. | investordave
26/10/2016 12:58 | nothing has changed as far as I'm concerned - except the sp they could have dealt with innovenn expectations better, but I'm leaving this one to run | harry vederci
26/10/2016 12:00 | At this rate I wont be far behind Dave. | cocker
26/10/2016 08:03 | Only 21p to sell now. I'm out. Good luck to any holders left. | investordave
20/10/2016 17:44 | Great post GHF.. | battlebus2 |
