08/1/2016 14:25 | Looked it up out of curiosity: Livingbridge VC has adopted a 'top-down, sector-driven' approach to identifying and evaluating potential investments by assessing a forward view of, firstly, the business environment, then the sector and, finally, the specific opportunity. Potential investee companies will typically need to exhibit pricing power, together with the ability to scale up their businesses. Based on its research, the Manager has selected a number of sectors that it believes will offer attractive growth prospects and investment opportunities. These sectors currently are: Business Services, Consumer Markets, Financial Services, Healthcare & Education, Energy & Environmental and Technology, Media & Telecommunications. Pricing power and ability to scale up seem to fit. The rest is a bit waffly, as the sectors cover just about everything except commodities ;-) | yump

08/1/2016 10:51 | I think you may have been a bit premature selling out as I too think this is a slam dunk for one of Techinvest's tips of the year in tomorrow's issue. It will get marked up on Monday morning whether or not there is much buying interest. I like this company a lot. They seem to be doing all the right things and are ambitious. It's one that could double quite quickly when it does start to move - the trigger may be when they start making profits. Ref Techinvest, I expect them to tip NETD and CFHL too. I think they will rave about the deal just done by the latter as transformational. | pentangle
08/1/2016 10:11 | sold out..like watching paint dry | temmujin
08/1/2016 09:47 | Yump on a P/E of 10 that would mean 2016 year end share price in the mid to late 30's with such a steady ship in place and the potential for a larger acquisition this looks like 2016 would be a very good year for all. | mulligut
08/1/2016 09:35 | So on the basis of a full year contribution from Kinesis that should mean revenue of EUR15+ next year... Next thing is to see what efficiencies they start to produce as a result of larger and longer running contracts. Kinesis were profitable to the tune of EUR600,000 in 2014. If the original Venn business runs at the same level of profitability (as it was rapidly reducing the loss), that could be say EUR1mln EBITDA from Venn, making roughly EUR2mln EBITDA next year. That's about as far as I've got. | yump
08/1/2016 09:24 | Yep, Techinvest have been very keen on VENN - hopefully another boost next week. Excellent trading statement today, with doubled sales of likely €10m+ and plenty of cash (€3.4m) going forward. Looking very strong now. | rivaldo
08/1/2016 08:27 | Techinvest out tomorrow. What's the betting Venn will be one of their 2016 naps | acga
08/1/2016 08:14 | Euro 3.4m cash position year end | tech
08/1/2016 08:12 | Well ahead of Zeus Capital's breakeven requirement of €8.2m, nice. | paleje
08/1/2016 07:55 | curlly..because i dont want prats piling in before me! | temmujin
08/1/2016 07:52 | So that should be something over EUR10m, which means second half has grown about 50% over first half. Some of that will be Kinesis though, which is about 2 months worth - EUR1m. | yump
08/1/2016 07:50 | tem Why do you say nothing to see here? | curlly
08/1/2016 07:45 | nothing to see here...move on | temmujin

11/12/2015 16:02 | difficult to buy any quantity online | tech
11/12/2015 11:50 | Have been nibbling in the 20's for an initial stake and may increase it on any rise. Seems to be a solid enough outfit and conservatively managed. | kemche
11/12/2015 11:35 | Looking forward to seeing how this one pans out. All seems to be in place with sound management and a strategy that makes sense, plus results to back it up. Quite happy to sit on it and wait for continued growth to kick in. | yump
11/12/2015 11:24 | The MO for this company has been growth through acquisition and it makes perfect sense to have a quote in Euros if, as in the past, their targets are across the Eurozone. A move to Davy is a strong indication that they will continue to pursue their growth trajectory by acquisition and with a more diverse private client and institutional reach VENN should gain greater exposure and secure better liquidity with a strong broker note from Davy. Good luck to all who are in. | mulligut |
