03/5/2007 17:45 | Growth Company Investor issued a buy recommendation for Velti on 01/05/07 In addition to reading things that I already knew about the dynamism of the company what I found noteworthy was the following paragraph emphasizing on 2007 prospects. "The shares have risen by nearly one-third since the annual results were published in March, placing Velti on nearly 15 times forecast earnings for 2007. However, that rating is expected to fall to around 11 times the following year and Moukas says 80 per cent of forecast revenues for 2007 have already been secured, leaving Velti exceptionally well positioned to hit this year's numbers" With 80% percent of forecast revenues having already been secured and the euro rising vis a vis the pound it sounds to me that some pleasant surpises may lie ahead in terms of the company's profitability. After all it still early May :) | istamato
13/4/2007 21:30 | Still plenty of growth as their markets are not saturated yet. | rogerbridge

10/4/2007 18:33 | Still looking strong.Should have a good year unless it gets an offer. | rogerbridge
31/3/2007 16:49 | At least we've had a bit of action this week. I bought in @79p with the intention of jumping out @100p, perhaps it might be worth hanging on to for a bit longer, I'm not a big fan of these type of shares but sometimes you do get a result with them. | nephin
29/3/2007 14:56 | Looks like we have a buyer in the background....sp has broken out and i'm expecting further rises:-)) | pre
29/3/2007 11:31 | I'd much rather this was a quiet thread and we don't get the nonesense that appears on some other company threads. Bought a few yesterday after the results. they look good value but below most peoples radar. Happy to wait until they get rerated. | deucetoace
29/3/2007 08:57 | Looks like this is a sleepers thread.....brace yourselves for further rises...buyers moving in:-) | pre

28/3/2007 11:22 | Will be interesting to see the write ups in tomorrows press....this will attract further interest imo:-) | pre
28/3/2007 11:07 | I like the confident statement issued by the chairman today:-) On outlook, David Mann, Chairman, stated: "In 2007 Velti will maintain its primary focus of providing mobile content solutions for mobile operators, advertising agencies and media groups. The Board sees excellent prospects for delivering a further year of very strong growth." | pre
28/3/2007 11:02 | well..well...a cracking set of results...recall CR posting in sept last year and was spot on with his prediction of eps......this looks cheap at current levels....+5M cash held and very strong growth expected.....20-30p to be had here in my opinion:-)) | pre
28/3/2007 09:50 | Seems dificult to compare directly to WNN & MOB because of its competitive geographic advantage (at least for the time being). They do claim to be redressing the cashflow this financial year and seem confident of "very strong growth". I am going to hold in here and hope for another 30%+ but I will jump ship at the first hint of bad news. | henryatkin
28/3/2007 09:30 | Bought in today, it does look cheap. Market still growing strong over there. | rogerbridge
28/3/2007 09:17 | Cashflow isn't brilliant. I wonder if payment terms in SE Europe are very extended? How do Velti differ from someone like WNN or MOB? | wjccghcc
28/3/2007 09:02 | still here, good to see some action this am | cambium
28/3/2007 08:59 | Everyone gone to sleep????? Revenues up 122% to E10.8M Profit before tax up 152% to E2.7M EPS up 129% to 8.7 Eurocents Current share price 105p = 154 eurocents = PE17.7 Foreward PE 11.8 for 12/07 Very strong growth forecast for comming year. Far to cheap! | henryatkin
05/3/2007 00:53 | There is no catch, it is just under-researched. Velti is a great business with top class management (that own more than 30% of the company) in a growing sector (the mobile content market is estimated to be $25b market by 2008). It benefits from systemic changes (outsourcing from mobile operators to third party ASP's) and low costs as the vast majority of its engineers is based in Greece where the labour cost is less than half. With the pre-tax profit for 2007 estimated at £5m (see times online), it offers a P/E Ratio of 7.5 and an EPS growth rate of 50%. This makes the company dirt cheap at 100p. Given that the relevant sector is currently trading at a P/E ratio of 18, I can easily see this little gem rising to at least 150p this year. | istamato
22/2/2007 16:32 | Similar thoughts. The Pre Close trading statement reassures that results will be good. I will most likely open a long position before results. | fellowes2 |
