Tyson - I have a chunk of Stellar Lumens. My feeling is that all crypto, Blockchain and mining stocks will rise 50-100% by Xmas and FTSE will drop 10 - 20% this month alone and not recover for 12 months.Just a feeling mind - DYOR!

Argo, a UK-based provider of cryptocurrency mining services (LSE: ARB), is pleased to announce a ten-fold increase in its sold packages to 4,200, marking the first significant ramp-up of the Company's revenues since its Initial Public Offering in August of 2018.

The increase follows the successful expansion of Argo's mining platform announced on 6 September and completed ahead of schedule last week.

As a result, more than 3,800 new packages have been signed up with effect from today. The strong customer take-up has also led to the enlarged capacity being immediately sold out, as anticipated by the Company.

Argo will continue to add new mining capacity and offer more choice of currencies in line with its phased growth plans, which call for the deployment of sufficient capacity to support approximately 30,000 packages within the first 12 months of operations.

"We are delighted to achieve our first significant sales target ahead of our plans and the start of meaningful revenues for the Company", Mike Edwards, president and co-founder of Argo, said.

"The strong take-up of our service also indicates that demand of cryptomining services remains robust despite a recent downturn in the sector. We will continue to execute our growth strategy as quickly as possible to meet this pent-up demand," he said.

Caveat emptor...the final results statement looks threadbare for commercially valuable content. Out of ideas and no strategy. Pie in the sky investments which are basically worth zilch. I was in for a short while as a trading punt and got out a long time ago when cryptos still had some steam.

VELA is heading for the rocks. Bail out while you still can.

Good evening and thinking that it might be worth saying a few words following our results announcement earlier today.

If you look back to previous results announcements, you will note that we have not made any major announcements about our investee companies. The results we publish are, in many ways, more of a formality to comply with listing rules. I think you will find this applies to other companies like Vela.

Whenever we have any significant news in relation to an investee company then we will issue an RNS. Typically our investee companies want to manage the news they release as this may impact on their competitive position, confidentiality issues and the like. We hope and expect news to be forthcoming from some of these companies. I reiterate this point to them on a regular basis. This is part of the reason that in recent times we have tended to focus on companies close to or already listed as in this way investors can see what our investee companies are doing.

It's also worth highlighting a point which I have spelled out many times when meeting with investors. Almost all of our investee companies were born from a blank piece of paper. Often a result of personal experience. To take an idea and create a business can take a long time. This journey will be fraught with issues, delays and problems to overcome. Investors should appreciate this and invest based on a appropriate timeframe. I see investors posting on this board and elsewhere asking me to issue news and do something to get the stockmarket excited. This is simply not how it works. We have some very exciting companies in the portfolio, run by some very talented entrepreneurs doing great things that we hope will bring rewards for Vela shareholders.

Finally, and probably the most important point, which wraps together everything I have said so far. We try and post regularly across all the social media platforms. What we publish is always in the public domain but may be difficult to locate. It is the best way for you as investors / shareholders to see what our investee companies are saying and doing. Recent posts give a great insight into a few of our investee companies and help investors build up a picture. So please follow us there and you will pick up information which I think you will find helpful over time.
