After the recent purchase of shares our investment was worth £3.54 million but since then BTL shares have increased by about 26.5% so I estimate the correct end of December value to be about £4.48 million. Only out by just under £1 million but soon that will seem insignificant. 2018 is about to get very interesting. RKB

"Breaking News for 2018 I have been researching over the past two days and I came across an RNS for another company that had details about one of our investments, Stream TV They said Stream TV was valued at USA $336 million and intends to do an IPO on NASDAQ in 2018. Posters who know my research will have confidence that the above is genuine. Because of this information I have cancelled my upper limits to sell from 2p to 3p. Vela first invested in Delaware based Stream TV on 1/10/13 I will not attempt to put a value on our stake, I will leave that to other pi’s who are more qualified to estimate what this potential IPO will do for Vela. Bitcoin does not relate to BTL share price BTL/VELA relates to how well Blockchain works and is taken up by big companies in the Financial Services, Energy, Registry, Gaming sectors.
VISA/BP etc.
But we all know that as discussed on this board many times.

It’ll be interesting to see how bk2 shapes up mining currencies.

With South Korea indicating that crypto currency users will have to start declaring their identities, this might just act as a catalyst for a broader sell off in crypto currencies in general, especially if other countries follow suit. Given that it can’t be regulate£ in the same way as fiat currencies can, this might be one way for governments to introduce regulation. If that happens, part of the attraction of these currencies, is the anonymity you get with them,so the question is, how much of the user anonymity is driving the current increases in crypto exchange rates? It may have an effect, it may not.


It might also start to serve as a catalyst for clearing up the current perceptions that crypto = blockchain, etc, which it plainly isn’t, it definitely needs to happen, so that blockchain stocks don’t rise and fall as crypto’s do... blockchain needs to be divorced from crypto as soon as possible...

2018 is definitely going to be an interesting year as we see blockchain technologies and applications mature...

I’m a long time holder of vela, and whilst I’m over the moon at vela’s recent rise, I think it has a long way to go yet. I think airportr is still extremely undervalued and under the radar, and I think the growth potential for it is simply staggering.. tie ups with Eddie stobart logistics, American Airlines... I think airportr need a couple more years solid trading under their belt, by which time, if they’re still doing business, I reckon they’ll either be bought out, or they’ll float. Just my opinion of course...

It is currently anticipated that there will be additions to the Board of Directors and management of the Company in connection with the COB Transaction. He is a founder of Vynleads, a US technology company, and was founder and CEO from 2003-2005 of Peleton Resources (now Triangle Petroleum - TPLM on the NYSE).

I think bitcoin is going to be volatile at the moment especially over the holiday period, but I also see it setting new highs in 2018. The article in the Times the other week predicting bitcoin hitting $1m each in 20 years may seem far fetched but who knows.
